Downloaded, and registered PRO version without problems. Unable to OPEN any pdf document regardless of size, language or protection.
To check if there was some spooky protection, I tried opening the same pdf's with Word. No problem.
Conclusion? - PDF Anti-Copy Pro is unable to do what it claims. So far a waste of time!

My interest was the opposite...how to merge different bank statements in one. That was not possible because they were edit protected...
FYI the really free "Free PDF Password Remover" from 4Dots did the trick.

Ted, The 4Dots tool seems to require a 'user' password and then it will remove the 'owner' password. Makes it useless for every protected pdf I might want to edit.

So print the “protected” PDF. Scan it with other software with OCR capability. Done.

Nothing could be stopped from being copied if it is on your screen... It takes more efforts but it is always possible. Just try any OCR (my favorite is ABBYY)

I initially thought this was a great idea, but the way that the program converts the text to an image reduces its sharpness noticeably and that's not acceptable.

How would the security work against somebody re-typing the content of the PDF in Word and then editing it? Cheats will always find a way.

Mick, Have you ever tried to open a protected PDF file in Word? It comes out with tons of jumbled unreadable bits of characters like this:
