You may submit your software right now, if you know all the angles of cooperation with Giveaway of the Day. For more information, please keep reading down.
Welcome to our unique software distribution initiative, which will provide you with an easy and risk-free method to build additional user base and spread your excellent software around the world.
Our initiative includes a complex of different services that will help you in informing potential customers about your software titles and promote them in a safe and reliable way.
Basically, our visitors will be able to download the software product for free, under specific Terms and Conditions, which limit the software usage to non-commercial only, and may also limit software updates and technical support.
The software product will be presented in its full functionality, without any limitations save for those mentioned in Terms and Conditions.
The download link will remain on our web-site for one day (or several days, if agreed by software publisher), together with the review of the software product and the information about other products from the software publisher.
The information about Giveaway of the day and the participants of this initiative will be included in our newsletters and will also be distributed among our users and our partner sites visitors.
Once the Giveaway for a software product is over, we will continue to advertise your software products with discounted purchase links and software reviews after the giveaway day for the given software product.
We guarantee, that the offer will be available for the limited time only, agreed by our company and software publisher, and the registration offer will expire once this agreed period is over.
Also, by participating in our initiative, you are guaranteed to have advantage over your competitors, because your users will be able to receive an extended trial run of your software for free – something no other download sites offer.
Please note also that participating in Giveaway of the day includes additional promotion for all of your software titles, thus allowing trial users to get acknowledged with the whole product line of your company, and, of course, purchase those products.
Giveaway of the day provides you with unmatched level of safety, and that’s how we do that:
One of the main benefits is a chance to get quality feedback from thousands of visitors. It will include comments from ordinary PC users and professional reviews written by software geeks and bloggers. Customers may see imperfection while you see unique points only. And drawbacks are often well worth knowing to make a step forward.
In addition we’ve teamed up with the Idea.Informer project in order to bring you even closer to the people who use your software. Idea.Informer will help to receive and manage user-generated (and by users we mean existing and potential clients) suggestions on how to make your software better. You will get an access to the project and will have full control of it. We will place special widget on Giveaway of the Day download page, thus linking our visitors to you directly. It is that simple and it works like a charm!
The preferred method of contacting us is our software submission form, which can be found at https://www.giveawayoftheday.com/for-developers/submit-program/.
You can also contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call at 1-518-412-27-67.

“After cooperating recently with Giveaway of the day, we think it’s a very effective way of Internet Marketing. Especially for products which need to acquire their market exposure and gain popularity among customers.
What Giveaway brought us?
- Nearly 10 times traffic to our official website on the Giveaway day.
- The conversion rate rose more than ever before.
- The Alexa rank of our website is improved considerably from 160,000 to 110,000.
- Users’ feedback and suggestions.
And we’re considering future cooperation with Giveaway of the day. “
“Sometimes things happen too fast. I’ve just received an offer to provide my software for GOTD a week ago,and here is 30 minutes as I’ve sent the last e-mail to a user, who complained to the the problems.
The result is:
- With a GOTD, my web-sites were visited by 25 thousand unique visitors, who saw more than 80 thousand pages;
- More than 300 letters were written to me;
- 19,5 conversations were done;
- Founded and fixed 2 system mistakes;
- Got 24 estimable proposals about GF upgrading.
So we have a lot of new work to do! :-)”
“I was contacted by GOTD about featuring one of the Winstep applications on their site.
At first I was very reluctant, as I don’t believe you should give commercial software away for free and, having read about GOTD before here, I knew their crowd is a tough crowd. On the other hand, one of my middle-range products (Nexus Ultimate) needed more exposure and having it free for only 24 hours might just be the ‘push’ users of a competitor product needed to jump out of their inertia and switch to Nexus Ultimate (you know how users dislike change and tend to ‘stick’ with what they already have instead of switching to something that is better but unfamiliar). I made sure those targeted users knew about the promotion when it happened. :-)
I was exhausted, but happy. 48 hours of non-stop activity, pre, during, and post promotion. Barely had time to eat during that time, much less to sleep.
GOTD send me a Google Analytics page a couple of days later. 20,769 people clicked the Download button, but from those ‘only’ 13,787 people actually got their serial number from BMT Micro.
BMT Micro staff and I watched in amusement as one joker ordered 200,000,000 (yes, 200 million!) copies of Nexus Ultimate, so make sure you have your order process set to only send 1 serial key per order (I did). It didn’t hurt, but BMT Micro staff immediately changed the shopping cart code to only allow 1 copy per order for that promotion.
“When Giveaway of the Day initially contacted my small sole proprietorship Bitsum Technologies, I had not heard of them before. I did not know what to make of their offer to give our software away freely to tens of thousands of users for a 24 hour period. I did not know if it would help or hurt actual sales. I am not one of those developers who cares only about sales, but I do need some revenue to feed my family. I was nervous about it.
After a week or two of twiddling my thumbs, I decided to take the plunge. Thank goodness I did!
The experience wildly exceeded my expectations. I must admit I was overwhelmed with customer support, but the give away went GREAT! The GOTD community accepted and liked our software, and seemed pleased with our responsive support.
Surprisingly, orders increased immediately – yes, even while the software was being freely given away. The market exposure later led to countless other sales. We were so pleased we did a second give-away a couple months later. The results were almost identical to our first offer – immediate increase in sales AND a sustained increase in revenue. It still amazes me to this day.
Further, their Idea Informer is a wonderful way to get great feedback from users, helping you guide your software development and getting you ‘in touch’ with your customer base.
Giveaway of the Day has been an invaluable marketing partner and the best marketing decision I ever made! You get what you give in this world, so don’t be afraid to be generous. If your software is truly something people want or need, the benefit of Giveaway of the Day’s market exposure will be nothing short of amazing.”
“We decided to participate in Giveaway of the Day because of the excellent opportunity to promote a product and collect lots of users’ feedback. Actually, in just one day, we’ve heard more opinions about our software than we typically hear from our own website visitors in two weeks! Being happy with GOTD team service and our promo statistics, we decided to get back there soon with our new products”
“…Looking at the new users details I think about 70% of the downloads are businesses in my target market. Far higher than I originally thought… I am in the process of signing up 4 resellers and have had emails from 13 companies that are looking at upgrading the free single user for a multi-user version of goCRM. One wants 30 users!”
