previously given away under the vendor https://www.giveawayoftheday.com/category/publisher/aoaophoto/ version number seems to have gone backwards last version offered in 2015 was 8.7 this is 8.3 it is ODD that it works exclusively on picture files yet the developers have chosen to put it's per user folder hierarchy in the user Documents folder with is not for pictures and photos but text and combined media documents. It should really be in the Pictures per user or all users hierarchy IMHO. If users have register in the menu greyed out it is quite possible it has reused the previously installed aoao watermark software license from 2015 and needs no further activation.

If you find that the program cannot be successfully activated, it is recommended that you uninstall the source program and try to open "Computer" → "Library" → "Document" → find the "Setup.ini" of the corresponding program and delete it → Restart the software and fill in the license code.
