Same thing with the malware engine.Downloaded and installed ok. Skipped malware scan in initial scan and every one after when running the quick check.Malware engine fails to start even after removing and reinstalling the software.

Wise is on a hiding to nothing here, pitching the Real Time protection of its Pro version against the Real Time protection of Malwarebytes Premium.
Lacking the specialized background that Malwarebytes has, Wise should either be seeking to out-perform its rival or undercut its rival's prices. It is doing neither. It wants a first payment of $39.95 for this software's "purchase" PLUS $19.95 for one year's "subscription", an invoice total which it says is $47.94 (it isn't: it's $59.94) but then adds that the $19.95 isn't actually payable until one year after purchase -- though having said that, can't explain how its $47.94 bill was arrived at in the first place.
A developer that can't even add up, let alone tell the difference between "purchase" and "subscribe", isn't one which any sensible computer user should put their faith in, regardless of any free six month trial, as offered here. Whichever way one does the math, Malwarebytes Premium with its proven product, clear pricing and unambiguous English leaves Wise with nothing to offer at all.

We've used Wise Care 365 and it's very good, maybe even better than CCleaner. if that's possible. Don't need this anti-malware 'cause we already have Avast and Malwarebytes.

Dumb me - I had used WC365 for a long time.......I didn't read the particulars - so un-installed 365 and downloaded this JUNK....(thinking it was an update)......as several say here........it WON'T WORK.....something about 64 bit......tried 4 times.......wasted 2 hours and ended up with NOTHING........including my 365,,,,,,,,end of WISE for me.

I'd like to use this as a manual backup to my regular fulltime antivirus. But it shows up in my tray automatically when I start Windows. Is there any way to prevent it from doing so?

Top right of screen shows a spanner(Settings)
Go to General and untick Malware & Adware protection.
Start/Run enter 'MSCONFIG' - return, then locate the entry for Wisecare and untick then reboot.

Terry I, Thank you very much. I had unticked the protections. But it kept showing up in my tray. I forgot all about msconfig. I didn't see it in Task Manager Startup and just assumed there was no way to prevent it. Anyway, I'm off to reinstall it and give it another try.

I had the same.
I RE installed the software after (This time) turning off Avast and I was then asked to reboot (Didn't get that the first time) and Malware engine is now loaded.
Taking an absolute age to scan my system (2 hrs now) so I hope it has found SOMETHING worthwhile.
You may find just a reboot will do it.

wise company one of the good company but I cannot understand why some product is Interference with other products. for example why an antivirus has a registry optimizer on it. Can the company not combine all product in one great program whit ability to add the registry system to pay for each section is individual?
