If you write text on the PDF, you can change the text font, size, color and move it to anywhere you want on the page. After inserting an image into PDF, you can resize the image and move it also. If you find some words or images need to be removed, simply use the eraser tool to erase. Dear users,

For everyone who gets the "Invalid code" message. Please, follow this instruction:
Run the program, click "Edit PDF", click "About", "Register" then close the purchase page you and will see the textbox that asks you for the code.

The instruction in the readme.txt file has been modified.

I would have loved to try Win PDF Editor but after downloading & running it, it will not accept my registration Key I believe because I cannot type "ɪ" with the horizontal lines on top & bottom it only comes out as "I" & also cannot not paste a "ɪ" in registry code which seems to be the problem. any help appreciated though need to get some sleep need to be up in 5 hours. Very Nice PDF Editor....after misery of getting it registered.

Win PDF Editor is NOT Adobe Acrobat DC Pro. But it is simple PDF Editor that gets the job done. Down-n-dirty edits are done much faster in this software compared to Acrobat.

I see no way to zoom the edit window. I can't get a page width view of my document. Not helpful for viewing my edits in a larger context.

Couldn't install the program. Everytime I ran setup.exe, I got an Activating window followed almost immediately by a Giveaway of the Day "Failed to launch the program" window. Stopped all other programs like antivirus, etc. and retried with same result. Rebooted with same result. Win 7, 64 bit.

Reply   |   Comment by Marv  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (0)

Got it installed. Even though I stopped the antivirus program, the service was still running. I had to restart Norton Security Suite, go into the program settings, and temporarily disable protection. Unlike Angel Mendez with Norton 360, my Norton didn't give me any indication that it was stopping the install program.

Revised registration now works. Thanks GAOTD and WinPDFEditor.

I wish to batch convert ONLY page 1 of ten PDF's to JPG which this software allows.

For improving the software can I recommend the following:

The software allows that you can extract certain pages i.e. page 1-3,6,8.

When choosing multiple PDF's when left clicking can you allow it to press shift and/or CTRL to pick certain PDF's.

and finally instead of creating a folder for each converted PDF can there be an option to have the option to call the output file the same as the original PDF filename only a JPG.

I have decided to purchase this software to support the programmers and in the hope that the above will be implemented.

Pitty that this is not a real pdf-editor. I need one for occasional (very rare) edits, having an old Adobe Acrobat and Illustrator CS5 (really unconvenient working environment, but for my use once-twice in a month not worth to upgrade nor to buy something else). I didnt find any freeware nor GOTD that does pdf-editing job really. :-(
I don´t like the misleading name of this software. Very bad for marketing - who tries this sw needing really functional pdf-editor, never will believe this company...

Reply   |   Comment by henrich  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+10)

TK, thanks - this seems to be worth a try. Even if it probably cannot edit more complex pdf-s - usually I need just small edits in single documents created from Word, but really changing the text, not only adding annotations (what my pdf-reader does too).

Download, installation and registration no problem whatsoever. Creates desktop icon, start menu entry (if chosen).

Editing (annotation) worked very well for me. Conversion of the same pdf-file to a Word.doc no problem either (formatting largely retained- bullet list!).

My résumé: unless you have no use for this type of software I'd say you will find Win PDF Editor Build 3.2.5 worth keeping.

My note to those you believe that "editors" in this price range are a substitute for genuine pdf creators - no - they are not and will never be. But for those amongst you who create pdf-files through Word or a virtual printer such editors will do very well.

Thank you very much @Giveaway Team and @winpdfeditor.com.

Installed and activated under Windows 10 Pro, version 10.0.14393. In the opening (splash) screen, there is a discrepancy between the version number displayed (2) and offered (3.2.5), although the version installed is correct (3.2.5). I have asked the developer (at support@WinPDFEditor.com) why and have since been waiting for the reply. I think it is just a negligence. The software is very versatile and useful.

Not a true editor. I deleted few line in an old PDF file and can not move the reset of the text up to fill those empty lines.
Also you can not insert text, you must overwrite an existing text (image).

All, the problem installing GOTD software went away when I deleted AVG Free and Installed Avast Free in its place. I declined all of the optional enhanced "protections," simply installed the antivirus only, and lo and behold many performance and behavior problems simply went away. This software installed perfectly in my Win 10 x64 (ugh)Anniversary Edition. All functions checked out, BUT I miss the ability to touch up existing text in the PDF. Am I not using the software correctly, or is this software not able to recognize and manage that text? w/o that capability, it looks like I might as well keep using Acrobat X. Thanks for your valuable contributions, GOTD!

Reply   |   Comment by AnAceBuyer  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (-1)

Hello AnAceBuyer,
I know what you mean, because I had to temporarily suspend AVG protection in order to run this installer. There's a pattern here that the developer of this product should resolve.

After that, registration (using the key on the readme.txt file) and execution worked for me without issues. It works okay as a PDF editor, but is pretty lightweight in functionality.

By the way, it's just been announced that Avast has acquired AVG for US $1.3 billion, so you've moved out of the frying pan into the fire!

Re: Failures to register
By trying I found out that registration can be achieved by following the instructions in the Readme file, EXCEPT that selecting the Convert module leads nowhere; you have to select the Edit module.
I hope this helps.

Installed and registered without any problems on Windows 10. I've tried this out on a couple of PDF files and it seems to work alright, although I haven't tried all the functions the basic ones work as stated. Personally I don't have much need for software such as this but I'll keep it and play with it when I have the time but so far so good.

The installer has the adware trojan so Avira antivirus blocks the install. The adware is placed inside wrapper of the giveaway. Can you remove this trojan? Thanks and let us know when the install wrapper will be trojan free.

Reply   |   Comment by amko  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (-4)

Hello amko,
Avira's reaction to our protection system is a false-positive. We have submitted a report to Avira team a couple of days ago but, unfortunately, we haven't heard back from them just yet. We always check all the files we give away beforehand so you may rest assured the installation process is 100% safe.

You may temporarily disable your anti-virus suite to install the product.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Ended by uninstalling program.

Reply   |   Comment by IDe  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+4)

IDe, the problems are the PDFs, which do you want to edit. It could be possible that the PDF is only a Picture or the whole PDF is proteced by the autor. For own PDF, which you have created you could use Libre- or OpenOffice.

This program seems only to edit the graphic layer of a PDF. If you "erase" a section of text within a PDF, the text is still there (it can be copied and pasted); it just isn't visible. So far I haven't been able to select and do anything to edit pre-existing text in a pdf. The program will add text, but it's not actual text: it's a bitmap representation of text. I would be happy to be wrong, if anyone can tell me how to actually edit text.

It will only show that it's registered if you close it after entering the key and then reopen it.

The reason being that it only checks if it is registered when it first opens, normal in programs.
