Other than saving me the manual effort of X-ing out of a program, what benefit does this offer?

What a hassle to shut down your PC! There is a start / close button on your PC that does that. If there is something that still needs to be saved, Windows will tell you. If there is an external device that must be safely disconnected and is still in use, the start / close button will do the same.

Why are you showing screenshots for WindowsCloser 4.0.1.123 but only offereing WindowsCloser 3.1.1.41 and this OLD VERSION is only Windows7 and above? Yeah right! Installs without incident on WIndows Vista SP2+

The main executable has been linked to be XP SP3 compatible being loadable in any version of Windows NT from 5.0 and up.

Could program developers care to answer why the installation of an EXTRA folders in the Program Files folder called C:\Program Files\WindowCloserbin\html ? Especially when a similarly used folder exists in C:\Program Files\WindowCloser\Images that contains "WindowCloser.html" and a subfolder containing the pages media.

Will this allow you to safely remove and eject an external harddrive when you get the message that it can't be done because it's currently in use?

I use Process Lasso for this and it works great. It auto updates . I liked it so much I bought a lifetime license. Once you set it up it does the rest.

Larry Watkins, I like Process Lasso too but how does it do this?

Bernard, It's beyond me. I consider it engineering level software. Explore the menus, it has a game mode and a lot more. I set it custom for my system. I'm using Windows 7 with only 52 processes going after boot. Read the help that's what I did.

I can't install the software, it only installs Software Informer, Help

Reply   |   Comment by Dann  –  3 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (-5)

Dann, Please note that due to the software wrapper, developed by GOTD Team, that limits software ativation to 24 hours only, your installation might be blocked by your antivirus (AVG, Avast or Kaspersky)!

In order to install the program, you'll have to temporally disable your antivirus.

If you have Kaspersky antivirus, please disable it and restart the computer.
Please make sure it won't start automatically with the computer.
Now please download the program archive once again and try to install it.

Be sure, all installers are always tested on virustotal.com and are virus free.

We apologize for inconvenience!

Alexa, what date did you scan the unwrapped giveaway installer on virustotal.com? And how do you know it is MALWARE free, not just known viruii free ... there are more malicious software types than just virii! As you know virustotal is entirely reactive, if there are no patterns for a zero-day infection virustotal.com has NO idea the code could be malicious. YOU SHOULD REDESIGN THE THEMIDIA MODULE TO ALLOW ANTI-MALWARE SOFTWARE TO OPERATE WITHOUT THEMIDIA MODULE BLOCKING THE INSTALLATION WITH THE ANTI-MALWARE SOFTWARE OPERATING AT OPTIMUM PROTECTION LEVELS. YOU KNOW IT'S THEMIDIA BLOCKING THE INSTALLATION NOT THE ANTI-MALWARE SOFTWARE ON THE END USERS MACHINE!

Ugh! Really? Do we have 1999? and it is written in Visual Basic?

Why it looks so bad?

Why it somewthing that do many things? shutdown - cleanup - music organizer - cofe maker - foot massager - what the heck more?

sorry it looks like crazy idea from India, student project for note and end of .Net programming laboratory.

I simply dont understand why this software appear and why somebody will DL it, install it, see everyday that crappy UI and so more interesting - pay for it.

there so many single tasks FREEWARE programs that do this.

For example well known Glary Utilities or Wise Care Utilities.

It's called marketing, and thanks, because I had no idea it organized music until I read your pan.

I'll give it a try.

Peter Blaise,
Beats me why so many people knock a product someone else's put work into when they've Never developed anything worthy of putting to a test here for others to try and possibly help the developers to make a better product... Suggestions are fine, but a Beat-Down is unnecessary and sad.
oh well, strange world I guess when it's so easy to use the scroll on button...

Flash River, How do you know what are the acomplishemnts or skill sets of those who comment here? Also why does one have to have built anything before they can criticise something badly designed, written or offered in bad faith. EVERY customer has the right to criticise a product that does not do what it claims to do or dissapoints in any way. Even the recipient of a free sample of a product for evaluation and or promotion or slamming if it's good or bad respectively.

dobry juzer, errr where do you find evidence it was written in Visual Basic? I find DLL's that suggest it was built using Visual Studio 8.0 and uses Visual C 8.0 runtimes and Visual C++ runtimes but no sign of Visual Basic runtimes being used by it here! The biggest fail with this appart from it being a depretiated version of the program is it includes unlicensed pre-expired trial modules not related to the product name like the application module FileOrganiser.exe used to impliment the Music Organiser module, cctool.exe is unlicensed expired trial. cwtool.exe is unlicensed expired trial. wctool.exe also expired trial...
