i usually start facebook with images and flash off. this browsing habit forces me to quit my facebook in max 10 minutes, as i only see text based notifications & posts. :-( :-{

Installation was a breeze. Doesn't seem to have much of a learning curve. I like that you can time limit access and think this program will be quite useful.

Umm... you block Facebook or vice versa? Do you know that Facebook can get very arrogant and overbearing i they think you are different from your Facebook persona? Facebook even dares to demand that you submit your government ID. And until they get the COMPLETE information about you, Facebook will block off your account --- and ALL other websites that you foolishly used your Facebook account to register.
It is more likely that Facebook blocks YOU.
Why is Facebook like that?
Because Facebook earns Billions USD$ from advertisements.
Facebook needs to know who you are, what you do, who are your friends, what you like so that it can tailor advertisements to send to you.

Any browser you have can block any site you want including the ad blockers, just go to browser's menu and select settings and there you can see sub menu for blocking web sites.

Not only that but you can also click on adblock plus or ublock icon on toolbar then click on block element. Now you can use your mouse on any part of the webpage you are on and whatever is highlighted in red is what you can block forever. I use this all the time. Blocking elements doesn't take up much time to do and you have a list of elements on the adblocker plug-in that will always remember what you blocked on any given webpage you chose including Facebook.

I am sick of Facebook. it's a Feces-book. Frequently, I receive suggestions from Facebook for new friends and many or most of them have porn videos or pictures. I tried every setup to stop this but none worked. The Dirtbook has made it so difficult for non-computer-savvy persons to block such offensive contents that I finally unsubscribed.
I have used "HT Parental Control", another software from this same company, and found it extremely helpful. We all trust our children, but as the film actor Rea-gun said "Trust but verify", this program lets you know which sites the kids have been to.

I'm on Facebook a lot (every day). However, I've NEVER been interested in suggestions from Facebook for new friends, so I ignore them. Problem solved!

j'ai du trduire la page anglaise pour voir de quoi il s'agissait!!??!! stupéfiant, il suffit de se désinscrire de FB Non? C'est le soft type qui vous empêche d'assumer vos choix. Si le naute veux perdre du temps sur les réseaux sociaux, ou si il veux arrêter d'en perdre, c'est son choix. c'est un peu comme laisser la lumière allumer et se plaindre qu'elle vous empêche de dormir... Pas sur de comprendre la finalité d'un tel programme. Bon je donne un avis, sans vote, et sans essais
