Step 1. Download Zip package from GOTD. Unzip the Package and run setup.exe to install the software.
Step 2. Run this software and you will be directed to the Registration window. Meanwhile, just find and click the "Get Free License" button at the bottom-left corner.
For getting the free license code, just directly click the link: https://www.vidmore.com/cooperation/gotd-screen-recorder/ to enter into the registration page on which you need to input your name and email.
An email will be sent to your email address automatically. If you do not receive your license code after several hours, please check your spam or junk mail folder.
Step 3. After getting the license code, return to the software and copy and paste the received registration code under "Registration Code" and click "Activate" to activate the software.
If you encounter an internet connection error when activating, please try using another internet connection.
Cannot find the Registration window? Just click the “Register” button (A lock image at the top) in the main interface of this software.

Vidmore, thx, screenrecord works well,
BUT
1.
My older Grundig TV does not like the recorded format, it says "Framerate not supported" though I recorded in h.264/25fps. Streamfixing with FFMPEG without rewriting the stream finally did the job and made the recording playable.
2.
This might be an almost perfect screenrecorder if the output resolution could be different to the resolution of the recording area and the result get scaled on the fly (there are already programs that can do that...)
e.g the recorded area is 800x600 and I want it in 320x200, I have take 2 steps with immanent quality lost.
3. I´m unsure if Hardware Acceleration is enabled, there should be a visible indicator to prove that

Downloaded and received code immediately. Installed easily. Made test recording of approx 2:43 which took about 150mb as mp4.

I wrote earlier about the registration process. I've used the program recording audio from an old YouTube music video. I'm happy to say it worked very well indeed! The process was easy, The file it created after recording was ready, I got to choose were I wanted to save it (it do initially offer a location on my hard drive, but I changed it. The recreated mp3 was as good as the material that was on YouTube. This is a keeper and I want to thank Vidmore and GOFTD for this offering!

Terry Barton, YouTube highly compresses Video and data. Unless you have a full understanding of how audio quality works, Wav, Flac, Mp3 320, 256, 190, 128. The lower the bitrate for mp3 the lower the quality. Needless to say, however compressed it is on YouTube does not gain improvement from a recording software.

I appreciate Vidmore is offering us again the chance to try out another one of their products free for 1 year, but like many previous Giveaways from Vidmore I've encountered problems (such as either in receiving the license code, registering the product or some installation issue).
Today, I submitted my request and immediately received the following message. " We have sent a email to your email address ('my address') with a free license key. Please check your inbox. If you do not receive your license key after several hours, please check your spam or junk mail folder."
Yet, about 2 hours later I've not received the promised email. Good chances are I will never receive any. My span/junk folder is empty. It's frustrating to be wasting time to be verifying periodically my in-basket for hours for an email that may never arrive. This sort of thing happens very rarely with giveaways from other companies. Vidmore is just shooting itself in the foot if it continues this up.

DejaVu2, If you are using a Microsoft email address, Hotmail, Outlook etc then you will almost certainly find that Microsoft will have blocked mails from the vendor.

DejaVu2, it isn't Vidmores fault. It's your choice of email. how well do you know your emails settings? Check if you have the option to whitelist an address. Or create a free and easy Gmail email. Aol Email, I have many just for such situations.
