It’s a real a shame these ppt templates are not compatible with other office packages. I mean, I haven’t personally put it to the test with the free templates......

Has anyone tried to run with a free template in a generic office program like Open Office.... OR has it simply monopolised MS PowerPoint?

Though like many freeware developers, you can be sure one developer has created a “free templates pack for all”. There again with patience and perseverance, the well experienced PP user could create a Picasso for their expert professional use...

If you registered for this software during the earlier giveaway you can not take advantage of today's offer unless you create a new account using a different e-mail address. The earlier giveaway limited you to 10 templates whereas today's is 15. Heaven forbid I should get 5 additional templates for free. Not worth the effort to get today's offer. Thanks, but I'll pass.

I've had no problem registering or downloading the templates. The first one I downloaded works flawlessly and I have already added my personalization. Since I have time to download all 15 freebies, I will take my time to peruse what is available. The one I downloaded was a timeline and I am using it to document my genealogical information for different family members who immigrated from Europe in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Thanks for the giveaway.

AllPPT.com has hundreds of free Powerpoint templates without the 15 download restrictions. This is a very limited download for what is a link to someone who downloaded free slides and wants to be paid for giving you more. Don't bother.

Well folks, I got my 15 downloads - Membership prices start at around $9.99 for your next 15, then $14.99 for 30 and $19.99 for 50 more downloads - so if you want these free 15, why not take "the plunge"!

I have not yet had a chance to configure these templates and of course, I haven't showed them in a presentation setting, but I will say these beauties do look promising....

The only problem was the 3-4 times I had to click the "Re-Send the Verification Link" to finally get the "verify my account" E-mail which did contain the Verify web-link, so that I could click it and then enter my Members' Area!

but all attempts to download a template lead me to a cart with 1.49 due. Has anyone succeeded in downloading a template?

Are these 'stand-alone' slides ? Or does it need a version of MS PowerPoint already installed ? If so, with which versions of MS PowerPoint will these be compatible with (for example, I mainly use MS Office 2003 PowerPoint, since I can't stand the ribbon interface) ? What about other popular presentation software, such as OpenOffice, LibreOffice etc -will it be compatible with these, assuming it is required ?
PS I did go to the website, but there's no FAQ, to answer what is a very basic question !

I enter the promo code, clicked the "apply", appear "Discount Code - Valid - 100%", clicked "Register", and... give me this:

"The discount you entered is invalid
The security code you have entered is invalid
The address you have entered is invalid
The city you have entered is invalid
The state you have entered is invalid
The country you have entered is invalid
The zip / postal code you have entered is invalid"

Any idea how to get the ppt´s?

I followed the instructions, and they worked perfectly for me. As soon as you enter your discount/promotion code, the method of payment disappears.

What might be a little confusing, is that when you decide on a specific PP template, you see a price ( $1.49) and a green box below - "15 Downloads".

Just click download and it will. If you refresh, you will see that green download's indicator has changed to "14 Downloads".

I've spent an hour trying to download: I can't get it to work. If I understand correctly, the "10 downloads" is actually nothing more than access to 10 downloads at a 55% discount, You just don't select a template, click download. done.

Seems really deceptive if that's the case.
