For windows only users seems quite useful as it can create an executable copy of the encrypted data making it portable on a USB; skipping the issue of only being able to access that data with the machine you installed the software on when that machine dies.

First attempt at using that feature consistently resulted in a "Your locker has been created failure" message. So thought maybe it has to be closed, the only way I could close an open locker was to reboot. After which it worked. Running the portable copy created worked although also needs to be run as administrator presumably to mount it on a drive letter; but extra files could be copied into the virtual disk.
Note: what it actually created is an exe lockername.exe and a hidden folder lockername.files that contains the lockername.gpd file; not a single file (so to backup that backup you must remember there is a hidden folder to copy... file explorer does not see that hidden folder [maybe if run as admin it would], winscp spotted it)

When running the program there is a link at the top of the app for "Special Offer for Lifetime License". Cannot find any option to display whether after entering the license key in the readme.txt it results in a non-expiring or time limited license. Would be unfortunate if it expires. Have to assume the lifetime license is only for access to updates as suddenly losing access to the data would not encourage anyone to use it.

Obsolete menu items, ie: clicking on the "Folder Lock" option takes you to the vendor website where you can purchase that option; so it really should not be shown as an option unless that feature was present.

Reasonably polished look, works OK, for users that have only access to Windows a good option as even if you have bitlocker on the local drives having a portable encrypted copy of your data you can access on another Windows machine is the main benefit here (if you remember there is that hidden folder if you want to backup that backup).

Using add/remove programs to uninstall will prompt you for the master password you entered when installing it as part of the uninstall dialog; if you decide you do not want it uninstall before you forget what that was. It may carry on and remove without it, but I had not forgotten it at that point.

If you put stuff in this hidden password protected section.... forget about it for say ... 14months... will you still be able to access?
Or is this good for life...

Guess Im asking if its subscription based and if that runs out will i loose access to the files inside?

The individual files in the Virtual disk are not encrypted, only to access the folder is encrypted, therefore, it is not secure as a vault, but it works OK as is for home use.

If all the owners of the software think about why they should create this software in the first place, no new features would be developed, so the software should be created, however limited, and after attracting the audience and generating income, new features would be sought.

Gal Or, personally, i use microsoft native virtual disk, once completed, i use bitlocker to encrypt it, using a passcode to unlock it. no third party software to use, all native to my operating system.
