Good to have some programmers, How Do Only that and make some money by it. But, compatible with A LOT Different programs, WHEN I MEAN A LOT, PREFERABLY ALL.

Maybe the program should have some settings to let startup what's needed and to set What Will Not be needed.

I tried the intersection commands, they work, and they have a concise user manual / help built in.

No trouble activating. Looks like a nice and useful program. I was a little disappointed, though, that (as far as I could tell) there's no Entity-Relation Diagram setup. (Maybe I'll find it tucked away under some unfamiliar name.)

The registration was a bit challenging but I managed and will start to explore the possibilities. Fortunately I have a 3 screen arrangement here with one of them a 42" monster. This should give me room to be creative and still swap results around to other applications like PowerPoint and Word where I plan to use it the most. I expect I will need a few weeks to find my way around all the menu options but the joy of discovery left by the programmers is always rewarding.

Nice software! Went to the site to register and got the key emailed immediately. The readme has directions for entering the key. I was interested in doing network diagrams and noticed that while the template has router, switch, etc. shown, the available shapes do not include these devices. I do not see any additional resources available on the MyDraw site to supplement. Am I just out of luck, or am I missing something? Thank you.

Question - is there still a "professional" version? I searched the MyDraw website and couldn't find evidence of one. I have a GAOTD version installed that shows Version 2.0.0, license: Professional, Build date: 12/11/2017.

My version is obviously older and presumably has fewer features, but I'm wondering what the difference is between today's offer and the Pro version.

I finally got it to register. When I copied the activation code from the GAOTD email there was an extra space at the end. I couldn't see it when I pasted the code, but it was there. Backing up 1 space fixed the problem.

Wow. A very nice giveaway. Thank you MyDraw. I had an older version of this app for many years - up until my home burned in the 2018 California fires. Still, I gotta say, I liked the old version better, back before the days of the space hogging ribbon and side bars big enough to be seen from across the street, where I could work with a page and still see another app I was using for a guideline.

Wow, this has a LOT of diagram types, templates and shape libraries to cover a broad range of uses. Just start exploring under their "Resources" and "Features".

However, too bad they don't have a single-page site-wide "site index map" to reveal just how many pages of example, video tutorial, use cases, etc. that they offer. I can't find again just where I saw their page on the wide variety of automated display styles of hierarchical data for different purposes. You have to explore their website thoroughly to discover how extensive their support via examples really is.

p.s. Unlike that previous time, I see no download link this time for MacOS. Would the download for Mac from the mydraw.com website work with today's GOTD license key? (If I find out myself, I'll report back.)

On Mac OSX mydraw 4.3 does not register if Visual Studio for Mac (Xamarin) is installed (this is a known bug resolved on version 4.2 with a special compiled version). There is no work arround. Version 4.2 for Xamarin from the vendor download link does not accept the license code from GAOTD.

This is a great product. I like how many file extensions are available. It does the job when mapping processes or designing new workflows.

This is superb software even though it cannot be properly evaluated in a few minutes or even hours. I would liken it to a friendlier version of Adobe Illustrator, not as complex but you can certainly work faster and more confidently. My use is strictly personal, but up 'til now I have been doing my posters, greeting cards, business cards and general whatnot with Adobe Photoshop. Now I can move beyond and get superior results with MyDraw, not to mention being able to work faster and use design templates for more reproducible results.

One note as a suggestion: click on "file" from the main menu and at the bottom you will see an "options" button. The second tab there allows you to deselect "automatically check for updates". MyDraw was very easy to create a registered portable version which means you can put it on a USB memory stick (pen drive) and take it with you. In all, my portable version ended up at 126 MB in size with all the templates.

Such complete and comfortable software I have never seen here as a giveaway. The authors are to be congratulated for such a fine product and thanked for this most generous offering.

Get it while you can, even if you don't see an immediate need for it. I am absolutely sure that you will eventual want to produce a top-notch garage sale poster or whatever and be happy for the tiny space it takes up on your hard drive.

I followed the directions to activate... doesn't work...
I tried 3 different email addresses and all 3 key codes sent to me from GAOTD failed to activate. I also uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled to no avail... All 3 get a "Failed to connect to activation server" Http status Bad Request. It seems the keycodes sent from GAOTD do not work on the MyDraw activation server. The software looks promising but until the activation process actually works, it's not worth it.

Hi, installed and licenced with no problems at all. Had a look around and it seems a really good piece of software. I was a PM and used Visio at work. This is at least as good as that and I think probably better. As I do not work now it is certainly way good enough for my home use.

Create something like cocktail,then click file and scroll to about.Enter activation key and restart.

An excellent program that perfectly converts Visio files to dxf format than the Visio program itself.

It should open GED files that can be exported from "AgelongTree" ("Tree of Life" - so called in Russia).
