the program wouldn't allow me to import pptx..."the program has detected that you have not installed Microsoft PowerPoint... no PowerPoint installed? no matter, please click "use PowerPoint viewer" to convert without PowerPoint.
Clicked on button "use PowerPoint viewer" as suggested and web page comes up with message "404 - File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."
Now this program/software is unusable... what is wrong? Please help.

Ian Parkinson, Microsoft have long depreciated the powerpoint viewer, to obtain it you will have to search for the installer for the last version.

I just play the pptx on a windows 10 machine and use the gamebar record mp4 video of the playing pptx with sound and trim in a video editor. no licensing to be concerned about.

This is a program and version that dates to 2016.
The last time it was given away here was 4/21/2021 as a Leawo 2021 Easter Giveaway.
Even though it is not "new" it is well worth downloading and installing for its excellent features and design. Just "having been around that long" without any changes or improvements is a strong indication that there is little to improve. I haven't found anything lacking in the design or features, in my humble opinion. The only notable difference is the previous version (same 2.8.0.0) was a lifetime license and this offering is a one year license. Nevertheless, if I did not have it, I would download it today.
