This is the most comprehensive program that I've found to fix problems and tweak a computer. Most I've used have either fallen short or lacked valuable features provided with Kerish Doctor 2022. This is one program that everyone should consider adding to their collection of tools for finding and fixing their computer problems. I will be purchasing this program when the one year free license runs out.

Hi For those having trouble registering you are using Giveawayoftheday as the user when registering? I had no trouble registering using the name provided in the readme.txt document, also the key was already in the key slot, so all I had to do was accept it.

Put in my gmail email address to get the license key, it never arrived. I have had similar problems with this particular gmail address, so I tried a different gmail address that I know will work, and I got the message, "Too many requests from your IP". So, what do I do now? Two requests is too many requests?

Try using the TOR Browser. The request will come from a different IP, which should help you to get your key and get up and running.

After initially getting an ''invalid license key'' message, ie. (see image 1 below)

I followed Gordons advice, after initially using the name indicated on the email I'd received with the activation code; and, as Gordon mentions when copying the activation code from the email, it was automatically added to the License key field. I then typed Giveawayoftheday in the Registration name and it activated immediately. (See image 2 & 3 below):

I have used this program since last giveaway which was several years ago. It has served me very well since. I am only using free version, it regularly updates itself (not all features), checks my system, warns if any issues. I am not an expert so don't exactly know what it does, but it keeps an eye on my system. I also have wise care installed that I use sparingly (it crashed my 2 PCs once which had to be reinstalled). It has some tools that I use more often as I find them easier, such as duplicate file finder (better than many other programs), start up manager, hardware monitor etc.

Few programs are truly work shelling out for, but this is one exception.

It really does keep everything up to date and running smoothly.

Why something of this nature isn't already included with the Operating System, beats me.

I tested this on my old Windows 7 32-bit and it worked much better than any other maintenance programs I have tried and I have tried a lot of them. This one when run in manual mode which lets you pick and choose what you want cleaned/deleted/repaired works very well.

It appears to be safer than a lot of the other competative programs.

It actually got my printer working again as I have had to use another laptop because of printer driver/spooler issues on this old PC. I did a test print just to try it and it print out a test page right away with no problems anymore after the program fixed the print spooler problem. I noticed the PC was not as sluggish after running Kerish on it with quicker file saving and better response.

I can see actually spending money on this program to keep getting the updates after the 1 year of updates expires.

Thanks for offering this. I have finally found something that works well.

It is indeed a program that has been developed further regulary and gets a major update at least once per year (to upgrade the GUI to future versions in the sense of the year displayed in the GUI) and other minor improvements.

But with all programs like that that automate things, don't be ignorant and let it optimize, clean, tweak on it's own, you should always make sure the applied settings or deletions and changes match your expectations.

Automated programs can render your OS unusable if used in a wrong way, there are even viruses, malware, that act in a similar way with only the single task of rendering the OS unusable.

So always make backups, use system restore points, do your homework before applying tasks of automated programs and also use Kerish Doctors own backup/restore feature of any changes that were applied.

That makes sure you won't be surprised with errors and the like after a fresh reboot.

Get box to enter name (I assume to use "Giveawayoftheday" as the name, but do not know what to put in box called "Activation Key". It will not proceed without Activation Key in second box. Can you provide a little more explanation?

I'm uncomfortable supporting Russia at the moment, we probably should revisit our China policies too - if we lived under totalitarian governments, would we get our, leave, or tolerate 'the boss"?

Plus, how comfortable are we tethering our computers to such companies under totalitarian rulers?

It's a difficult, and personal decision. On the one hand, supporting the Russian economy supports their gov, but on the other, not every Russian citizen supports what their gov is doing, & you don't want to starve maybe the only people who can someday make changes. That said, many [most?] western governments are pushing everyone to remove any & all Russian code from their systems as a preventative measure against cyber attacks.

What the Russian government is doing in Ukraine is disgusting and unfortunately I cannot support any Russian products at this time, even if it hurts the Russian people who do not support their government since they are not allowed to speak the truth or their own minds. Peter Blaise, Your comment about Russia lacked any real context, which was a shame. But I did do some research and what I found seemed to indicate that there may well be a connection in terms of a component used called Enigma Protect, which is apparently a Russian developed product.

But whether this is a valid concern has to be established first.

Perhaps the product owners would like to give some clarification here?

Peter Blaise, since Russia-Ukraine war started, some European countries including Germany have helped Russia the most (far more than China or Belarus has) by buying more Russian products & services and coming up with new ways to counter sanctions.

They are helping Russia financially more than Ukraine. Only difference is they are sending weapons to Ukraine, not Russia.

You can use millions of registry cleaners as you want, that has nothing to do with the speed of the OS. The window's software operate at different level than we think and uses hundreds of temporary files to accomplish the tasks, therefore, the speed is affected by the speed of the memory and the speed of the hard drive and the speed of the drivers that are installed to communicate with your peripherals and the number of background software running at the same time.

Mike, having worked on and maintained computers and system, I totally agree. When it comes to registry cleaners, you hit the nail right on the head. Kerish Doctor is a great program just leave the registry alone.

Well, not sure Anyone can test millions of any type of software, :) , but in theory you're likely correct. Real world however some people continually report improvements, while Microsoft has always advocated starting fresh by reinstalling Windows periodically, which cleans out all the garbage in the registry and elsewhere.

Far as speed goes, number one consideration is the CPU, 2nd is the GPU, depending on what you're using the PC/laptop for, 3rd is storage, to an extent -- most SSDs are a BIG improvement over conventional hard disks, but most people will never realize any benefit from the huge difference between the fastest NVMe vs. the cheapest 2.5" SSD. RAM comes in a somewhat distant 4th -- too little RAM will hurt, but many [most?] won't notice a difference between average & fastest RAM speeds [except maybe when they see the extra price premium].

I installed Kerish Doctor last time it was offered, and I was so impressed with it that when the licence expired, I decided to buy a new 1 year licence. I still have 182 days left on that licence, but I will upgrade to a 3 year licence when it expires.
With all versions you are allowed to install the program on up to 3 computers in your household.
Everything is done automatically (in the background) including updates, no need for daily scans etc.
Great for novices ('default settings' recommended) or experts
Do yourself a favour, grab this while you can.

If the program is restricted for some countries, languages or zones (AS some did, and changing region by vpn...), the tell us in advance before downloading. Error: "Regional language for non-unicode applications does not match the application language. Please select in regional settings of the OS the language that is selected in Kerish Doctor.
(also disable unicode utf-8, etc)...

This is the only software that gives me this kind of problem.

nek4d, I resolved the problem changing locale for language and unchecking the "Beta: ...." that enables utf8.. (control panel), then uninstall the progrm, restart windows, download and install again. This way it worked for me.

I have been using Kerish Doctor ever since I first found it for free. I then have purchased a three year license twice now and will continue to do same. It automatically updates its self; checks for malware; tells me drivers are out of date; gets current ones; tells me what is running in background; so many things that it offers. Don't pass this year license up and get it; Bet you will then purchase it!

I, too, got it free and liked it so much I went to a 3-year on 3 machines. It cannot be transferred to a different machine and i have another computer that is not full licensed so I am going to use this 1-year deal to protect the 4th machine.
This program does a lot and lets you decide how aggressive you want it to be. It has never let me down or caused a problem and all computers are trouble free.

Colin Parker, Had the same issue just recently on another program I attempted to purchase. Turned out to be my AdBlockPlus software was causing the issue. Turn it off on the page you're experiencing difficult and see if that helps.

charlie, since you have used it for so long, you did not tell us how did you come to that conclusion?
Deleting temporary files, rearranging the software, how the CPU knows to run faster when you have ran this "doctor" software?
If there is noticeable speed improvement, please tell us how that is accomplished, before we buy it.
