The box did finally disappear and I have been able to use the program with no issues. :)

1 First click on the black 'Buy KCleaner Pro' button
2 Enter Name as: GiveAwayOfTheDay
3 Enter Serial Number given in the Readme file (mine has 59 digits, just copy and paste).
4 Click Register

You are good to go.

Whether the current version of KCLEANER 3.8.2 is poorer from KCleaner Pro v3.6.6.105 for PC

Not installing under Windows XP__ERROR : not a valid Win32 application

Neil, same kind of products but sometimes cleans "more" than CCleaner and has some "unique" features like automatic periodic background cleaning

Ralph Wapp, choice #1: Click on the black 'Buy KCleaner Pro' button and input the license data provided in the readme txt file.

choice #2: you go the question mark (?), then click About, then Enter License Data, the registration details are provided in the readme text file. Enter those in the desired fields and the program becomes registered.

For both choices: the black buy Pro button will be removed then if registered. Just make sure the program can connect to the internet, if the black buy Pro button is not removed, it's not correctly registered.

Oh! I finally realized what I was doing wrong!
I had been putting in my own name but looked again at the "readme" file and it says the name should be put in as GiveAwayOfTheDay and then put the serial number in. Once I noticed that I was able to register the program.

Or maybe not...??? You said the Buy Pro Version button would disappear if it was properly registered.
The pop up I got says, "Valid License. Thank you for registering our product." - But the Buy Pro Version button did NOT go away. I guess time will tell whether it really did register or not....

Marie, the only reason for the black button not being removed is when the program cannot connect to the internet, that is very specific here, as it needs internet connection to fully register.

Have you tried temporarily disabling firewall and register again? That might do the trick.
