I have got this setup on an old computer, now I'm setting up a new one and activate.exe doesn't work (outside giveaway period). Is there any way to get it working on my new computer? On the new one it wants a serial key but I can't see any way to get that from my old computer.

Does any one know if this utility can change a group of folder icons at one shot? Lets say you wish to turn half the folder icons in one sub-folder from yellow to green.
Windows only allows you to change one folder icon at a time. You can not select just 5 or six folders and change only those selected ones at once.

Mark, there's "apply selected icon for all subfolders" option ticker box in the program. I have been using this program in my old machine and now that I have a new one, thanks for this giveaway. This is so far the only folder icon app that works in external and network drives.

Am I such a klutz that I can not register this program? Instructions say, "You may check the program registration by entering the program menu,
the "Register" option is supposed to disappear." I see no program menu. Honestly, I was not born yesterday. I do know how to press buttons. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Curtiss Riedel, after you run "Activate" open the program. If you no longer see the "Register" option, you've successfully registered.

When I try to activate, I get a message that 'Giveaway of the day failed to connect. Try again later'. I do not have the anitivirus programs mentioned in the read me document.

Would be really amazing if these developers created a way to change the fonts and colors of the icon names - the text labels of desktop icons that MS took out of the OS so many years ago. And that people have been begging to have back, all this time, with no results.

Susanne Heron, Heck I want an easy way to just delete the entire text box under my custom made icons I have for my desktop shortcuts. There are ways to do it but you are left with tiny - or _ that aren't as annoying but are still visible. And you are limited to 3 of each. Now that would be a very useful program for me.

Mark, Yeah I know about that but it only works if you have a numbers keyboard. It won't work using the numbers above the qwuerty keyboard. So you have to resort to the -&_ method which is what I have done for some. Thanks anyway. Still think someone should look into making a small prog to do this.

LadyLei, If you have Windows 10 you can use it's "on-screen-keyboard".
On other systems, you could use a "numeric keypad emulator".
Finally, many laptops address the lack of a number pad by including a hidden numeric keypad activated by the NumLock key. You might have to press Fn or the Shift key to get it to work.
Being a big fan of personalization myself, I hope you can use this information to get your icons to look the way you want.

Well I tried Win10 and after my experiences with that I wouldn't touch it again with a 20 foot pole. Have Win 7 Pro and will keep that.
NumLk doesn't work, tried that one.
I will check into the rest of your suggestions and hopefully one of those will work.
I customized most of my icons and with that I really find the text just spoils the look I like. Too much time on my retired hands probably LOL.
