Did this software come bundled with PostgreSQL? Because I now have that installed on my system too, and I certainly didn't install it myself.

No problem downloading, installing and activating.
User interface has 1 major flaw.
Although you can store the person's photo in the contact database.
It does make it easy to display the PHOTO of the person in the list of contacts browsing window.
The user manual is not complete - there is no help on how to display the PHOTO of the person.
By the way, a portable and FREE version of this is available on the Internet.
Version 5.22 Build 530.
I have installed this GOTD giveaway version anyway.

How to insert small photo of person in Efficient Address Book to appear in browse window
Type Ctrl O to invoke [Edit]
A new window opens
Go to [Comment] panel
choose to insert picture (click on the moutain + sun icon)
Pick from folder where the photo of contact is stored.
Picture is inserted. (it is usually too big)
Then Right click on [Properties]
Choose the [Layout] tab
Specify the dimensions under width and height
You make it small typically 76 x 108
click [save & close]

As for me, it is difficult to get the idea of a stand-alone paid Address Book, analogue of which is available free of charge within any mail or Skype-like program.

This program looks very useful for anyone who needs to be able to make notes and add details to a contact list, especially a photo and their personal likes, dislikes, birthday, best time to contact, what your relationship is to them, etc. The possibilities here for your business or organization contacts is enormous!
I wonder if the address book integrates with your email program? If so, it would be great. At home we began using web-based email as far back as 1999. We've never lost a contact and they are accessible from any PC, laptop, tablet or phone which has internet access.

Actually, this appears to be - I haven't tried it yet - an address app that would suit me just fine. Most address programs are far too big and far too complicated. I just want to find an address or phone# quickly when I need it. Maybe add a little note. Additionally there is a reminder. How cool is that? Efficient is what I want.
Too bad the developer isn't offering a discount to the purchase price for today or the next few days.

I get the message "The download link has been sent to your email" but it has still not arrived after 4 hours.
Also tried with a different email address but that one has not arrived either.
Checked spam filters but no emails in there.
What next?

Must say that I have to agree with everyone else; the downloaded installer is for the password manager program, and not what is actually stated here. I attempted to download install the address book from the website and use the password that came with the gaod download. Does not work, so I uninstalled the program. Hoping GAOD fixes this issue. Thanks anyway!

what is this software, efficiency password or efficient address book, you told us it is efficiency address book but it install efficiency password manager!!!
