Dumo 2.25 was available as a giveaway on March 20, 2023!
Dumo is a user-friendly driver updater that keeps your PC up-to-date and safe. It uses the latest versions of required drivers according to your Windows version and detects installed hardware automatically.
It stands for Drivers Update Monitor, automatically scans the host system and identifies all the installed drivers.

The problem with this is that it says "download" for the drivers, but just sends you to the site, and you still need to find the drivers. I tried a couple, Barracuda and Intel, neither had the drivers there immediately or even just downloaded them for you when you select the download button.

Hello - so this finds, downloads and installs?

creatrix888,
It detects out of date drivers and provides you a link to either their own (KC Softwares) website where you can download the drivers, or provides a link to the manufactures website where you can locate and download on your own. Either option requires you to install the drivers yourself.

creatrix888, No just compares installed drivers to new versions. You have to manually search for version and compatible drivers for your device. Useful if you know what you are doing.

I have never been able to make DUMO work as it claims to, even after coming across it several times and in different versions. While the software can detect outdated drivers, it does not automatically update them even after registering.
The software displays information about the current version and indicates if a new version is available, along with its release date. Two links are provided that give the option to download the driver either directly from the DUMO site or from the software company's driver pages. However, these links rarely show the direct drivers, requiring users to search for them on the homepage before downloading and installing them. Although knowing the right version number can help, the process of downloading, installing, and often searching for drivers is cumbersome.
The software company also releases a software package called SUMO that supposedly automatically upgrades software. A lifetime license used to be not too expensive, but it requires users to download and install the updates themselves from the links the package provides. Unfortunately, most software packages already have that option built into the help files, and SUMO simply compiles the links in one place for easier access. Again, having to download and install everything manually can be cumbersome.
Overall, there are software and driver update utilities that function better and may even cost less when registering.
