I am having the same problem reported earlier.
downloaded and installed just fine. However, the readme instructs I go to the registration for the activation code. I've tried 2 different browsers and neither will take me there. I only get to the
givewayoftheday.com/driver-talent-3/ page
I would to receive an activation code and a fix to override the data lockout, which be in effect by the time I expect to receive a reply from you.

I'm not sure how you received a link through your mail. I subscribe to the newsletter but I did not receive any notice regarding this offer via e-mail.
The file you download on GOTD has the Setup.exe file and a readme.txt file, which contains a link to a page where you enter your e-mail address. A license key will be sent to that address. The activation requires the user enter the license key sent and the e-mail address they used to get the license key. After that, the program is licensed.

Retest: Based on the results Driver Talent provides, if you update your system or NOT, this is a great tool to have if used for anything other than knowing the health of your PC.
If you do update any drivers, for peace of mind, make sure you have your system backed up first.
On my PC, it showed only one of my drivers that needed to be updated which was what I had expected as I just recently purchased a new computer last month.
