I posted this as a separate comment so it would stand out. I feel like such a thunderhead. Somehow Wifi on my phone got turned off and I just never thought to look at that.... As soon as I turned it on I connected up with no issue... my apologies for the bad info.

Downloaded, installed, filled out form for key using link in readme.txt, instantly received key, registered. Fired it up, attached phone via usb, app recognized phone, simple instructions to enable developer's mode with usb xfer, and started the backup. Given it's a usb2.0 with gb's of data, not the fastest, but it is working, so happy.

Followed instructions and received reg code and it installed with no issues.
It allowed me to click download phone apk but did not do it. Tried twice.
I downloaded it manually and side loaded it with no issue.
Connected using USB no issue.
Same issue as SK; scanned QR, heard ding yet it did not connect.
I did not proceed any further since without a Wifi connection I probably wouldn't use.
If I did not follow the process correctly, please notify and I will try again.

Useful program. So far tested only managing one phone.
Like:
- ability to manage, import, export/backup in several different formats SMS, call logs, contacts;
- ability manage apps, including uninstalling (so far have not tried installing any of them from the backup);
- download, delete or upload images and video.
Don't like:
- was unable to connect via Wi-Fi. The app installed on the phone, scanned the QR code, beeped and ... nothing happened. So, only used USB cable connection;
- was unable to sort by columns.
