No documentation (what's there is in FLASH and very incomplete). Forum is empty of relevant information. It messed up my audio library.

This page claims support for Win98/XP/7/8/etc.
The program itself works in WinXP, but the installer is compiled for Win7+
I had to reboot to Win7, install there, then boot back to XP...

No issues with activation.

Your readme almost always insists on "Strictly non-commercial usage", even when:

1. The only difference between the free and paid version (according to the developer) is commercial use! For example, PDF Multitool for Business 12.1.8 (August 28, 2021 giveaway).

2. The same giveaway is available elsewhere ( for example, AudioGrail on SharewareOnSale) with commercial use allowed!

It makes GOTD less desirable to be honest.

I got 7.11.3.217 the last time this was offered on 10/30/19. I haven't been able to find a change log. But the version number doesn't look like it would've changed much. Does anyone know the updates and if they're worth doing the upgrade?

Installed and registered okay. I checked the program out and works as expected. I've been using AudioGrail for years ever since it was first given away here over a decade ago and have never had any issues with it. For free you cannot go wrong. If you want other audio conversion programs you'll find some free over on the site run by Ashraf. I can't post the name of the site here, but I'm sure most of you know the site. I'm sure Ashraf used to post long reviews of the programs here when the project first started back in 2006.

I tried posting various links with code but none of them worked, so I've just posted a direct link to an image I uploaded showing the different tools available with AudioGrail.

Das Programm lässt sich unter Win 10 installieren und startet gut. Danke! Ich gebe die Seriennummer ein, die wird akzeptiert. Beim nächsten Programmstart wird diese neu verlangt. Bedeutet, sie wird nicht gespeichert. Was mache ich falsch?

The program can be installed under Win 10 and starts well. Thanks! I enter the serial number, it is accepted. This will be requested again the next time the program is started. Means it is not saved. What am i doing wrong?

Downloaded but won't accept serial number after installing. now I can't find it in my installed program lists either in Windows 10 or Iobit uninstaller.

That's odd. I am a musician and I work with audio files all the time. I just tested it with a folder full of different file types, probably around 160 or so files, including the file types you noted, and it worked flawlessly. It did for me everything you said it did not do for you. This is actually a very well known app that has been around for a long time, with excellent reviews online. Given my totally opposite experience than yours, and the many positive reviews for it, your comment is quite puzzling indeed. I think this is a keeper.

It fails to recognise a number of files that I've dropped into it (ie they simply do not show) - mainly ALACs but also several AAC @320 that I've truied. It also fails to recognise the tags (created by MP3Tag) for FLACs. Next to useless.
