Apeaksoft is obviously not too interested in answering that specific and very important question and that makes people like me very suspicious and uncomfortable to install their software as l can see any reason why an installed software will still need to go through an internet loop, just to transfer data using a USB CABLE between a phone and a PC?
I will surely not install this software on my PC.

Pros:

If I didn't Manually Create a new folder, then the files will just be everywhere and unorganized and just be a mess.

Hello AAALt43,
I am wondering something reading all this on and about iTunes. Since you do not need to run iTunes (as they are stating) to use the program, ie. nothing with iTunes helps you read/write (access) your iPhone or visa versa, could it be you only NEED the Apple drivers for windows, to run this software? I will not use that bloatware iTunes on my windows device and have not have a problem with accessing my phone, see below.
I use a different iPhone manager from GOTD, (have been updating it for years here, and I like it a lot) and it only uses Apple drivers and nothing else to manage my device. Though this program will download the drivers for you, I have my own way of doing that and even to updating them. You can research online to find a free program that will download the latest and official Apple drivers.
Just a few things to note, you need to give "trust" on your phone for your pc, and that pops up when you plug it in. So, make sure your iPhone screen is open when you do that. If you do not give the permission from your phone, no windows program or the computer will be able to access the phone, just charge. A few times in the past, been a long while since this happened, I had to reinstall the drivers for the phone to be "seen" by my pc and the program.

I have an Iphone and an IPod and I don't use ITunes for either of them, but need it for the drivers, currently. I use the iPhone manager by Digiarty. They had a different manager originally and they progressed/added to this newer 5K version. Been using their product since iPhone 5, and other then a few minor hiccups with those first few versions, it always ran smoothly. This latest manager is a complete iOS manager, not only for downloading pictures and videos, and before I go further, no I do NOT work for Digiarty or GOTD, just to keep that clear.
DearMob; https://www.5kplayer.com/iphone-manager . WinX MediaTrans, is what the other version is called and still available on their main site, DearMob is the one I use. They both work, as I was confused to see two slightly different managers with Digiarty and tried them both and just stuck with the 5K version. Along with the CopyTrans software in the other post, all that is on my W-10 (I have used them on W-7 pc without a problem) computer for iOS is this. If you are a die hard iPhone user, then it is worth buying the lifetime license. Tell them I sent you (hahahaha, don't, as they have no idea whom I am)
The reason I mentioned that I do not work for them, is that I really like the Digiarty programs and find them well made, useful and they do work. Just for instance, I use this; WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe, and it does download videos fast (from YouTube, or other sites using the URL, etc.) and will convert them to what ever you need. All downloaded free for nothing (best price) from GOTD over the years.
Just to touch on your recovery question, and I am no techie professional by any stretch of the imagination, but, if your iPhone can be "loaded" onto your pc as any other file storage device, then you should be able to. Another musing, the architecture is different, so not sure how that would work and what a recovery software for Windows can find on an Apple device. But, as I said, if you can "see" the iPhone on your computer using the manager, you might have a way to recovery something. Online search engines, with asking the right questions, is your friend.
No idea if my answer here is slightly "out of bounds" but in all fairness to the authors of this current program, probably not in good taste and I should of kept this for a forum, therefore my apology to Apeaksoft.
You have to understand, Apeaksoft, or any other original author of a program, work hard to bring something to fruitation (is that even a word? haha). Offering it here does two things, markets their product to a wider audience and secondly, helps fine tune it and bring some bugs out that they might of missed.
Therefore in all fairness, using the software (or why you deleted it) and letting them know honest, profound feedback, really is important. I have read some responses here, on other programs, from chest pounding idiots, and just cringe at their base crudeness (I am holding back and being kind in this assessment of internet twits) .

Installed okay and did a backup of my iphone to my PC. The program reports all folders were backed up. However, when I browse those folders, Contacts is empty, as is Messages & SMS, Others, and Videos. Any suggestions?
