i am on windows 7, and iphone 6. i wondered if this program would work with my 'equipment'. i looked all over on the website and it didn't list what phone version it worked with.

i DL and installed. all of that went easily.

i hooked up my phone, and what i tried worked easily too. i DL contacts from phone to computer. i didn't do photos or videos.

the contacts are in a folder within the program. apparently one needs the program in order to open my list of contacts. i wish instead it went to a .txt or .rtf or some other universal file type.

i wanted to DL text messages but can't find that anywhere, i'm thinking it probably does not do that.

I'm a PC tech and have used the free version for years (comes with tech support) and recommend it. It saved me a few times.

Hi found this here and would up purchasing it for all three systems and I am using it for years. IT REALLY DOES WHAT IT SAYS. GOOD SUPPORT

I have a AOMEI Backupper Pro 4.0.2 version installed. It is Lifetime. It is my main go to backup SW and precious. I do not want to lose it or downgrade it.

The version offered here has only 1 year license. What happens after one year? reverts to a free version? to a free Pro version (if there is such thing)? How does that downgraded 'free' version compare to the Lifetime Pro 4.0.2?

Can I install this 1-year version in a separate folder or drive WITHOUT affecting the Lifetime Pro 4.0.2 version? will it force me to uninstall the Lifetime Pro 4.0.2? Will it mess up the registry and other settings such that Lifetime Pro 4.0.2 will not work?

kren , EVERYONE please note, this is to backup your iPhone. Below I discuss their regular hard drive backup....

I have tried every backup software out there (thru about 2013, when I found them). None have been as reliable as AOMEI. I use their Professional version ($50 lifetime) and love it. The only fault is their spelling (Chinese?). You know that fear you have when you have problems, and you want to restore from a clean backup but are afraid it will not work and you'll be totally screwed. I got over that a long time ago with AOMEI. If I get a virus or Microsoft screws up an update, I restore from my AOMEI most recent backup. I have never had a fail. Even when I had a "sleeper virus" and had to go back to a 2 year old backup, everything worked fine.

I strongly recommend their Professional PC/HDD version and cannot imagine this Apple version would be any different. fwiw, 2 or 3 times I've even had to ask for my license info (ie password) and they have always gotten back to me quickly.

kren , this is 'M' Backupper Pro, so it's not the same program. It's for 'M'obile devices only.

What happens after the 12 month period? Can I still use the saved backups or do I need to purchase the programme?

Rabbit, yes, I wondered the same. So many of these programs back up in proprietary code, that you need the same program to read the backup that basically becomes ransom ware.
