Still no reply from AML pages regarding non-working license key. They've taken my money. Therefore they in my opinion are scammers. Be warned!!

I would like to try this program, however I have installed it, and all looks good, but every time I try to minimize the program to the taskbar, it closes the program. How can I minimize this program? It has to run in the taskbar or I am not interested. I can't keep this open in fullscreen all the time. Is anyone else having this trouble?

I use Aml pages for organizing content I want to save from the Internet (most often recipes). It has a handy little button that sit's in the corner of the screen, and I can highlight text and drag it to the button - the recipe is added to my database without ever having to leave my browser. Later I can go in and see all my stored information, and organize it into folders if I want to. I love it. Thank you for the update!

Thank you for the tip regarding ability to drag the highlighted text from the browser.

I "discovered" that one can also drag the highlighted text from the browser directly onto the screen without using the button you mentioned in your comment.

consuella, the "button Aml Assist" implement more features for drag`n`drop text from web-browser. E.g. choosing of format data for saving, extraction source URL from dragged data and many more.

Hey, it exports to .chm format. Cool.

Yes it looks busy, but that is because it has a load of capabilities. Just use the features you like and skip the others or take your time learning about them. Maybe you will want to use them later.

Admittedly I have not used this software BUT I was looking for a program like this several years ago and just by looking at the screenshots I THINK I am many would likely prefer AllMyNotes Organizer as it is (or seems) simpler and has worked well for me for many years. I have no affiliation and am always willing to make a change for a better option but in this instance, I felt it better to share my initial opinion as it might help someone and I saw there were some issues for a few people with getting this Aml offer working.

No problems with installation and registering on win 10 (64). I've used similar software in the past and some are better than others. It just so happens that I need this type of software for a new project that I'm about to start, good timing GOTD. Software is very easy to use and has more than enough options for my needs. Like the nice clear and simple layout, easy to find whatever you are looking for. I haven't tested it properly and assume there may be a few restrictions, but I can't say I've found any so far. refreshing to find software that I have a real use for. Thanks to all concerned.

Is this an all 'singing and dancing' version of the very simple Ditto?

I use Ditto all the time to save text, url, screen shots etc for almost immediate reuse.

I am a registered user of this software since some months ago and I highly recommend it. Don't be afraid if the interface seems confusing. I also happened to me at a begining. Analize the instructions and videos a bit and just start using it. Do no pretend to understand all its resources to begin as the only way to learn and take advantege of it is just read a bit and use it. After trying at least 20 different software to organize my projects and ideas, I found out that this is the very best and complete, second to none. By the way, in any case, they are no relatives neither my friends! They just solved my organizing problem.

Wow - what a user interface. Looking at the screenshots, is a mass of icons, tabs, different fonts and menus ... thousands of menus. Flying Concorde looks less complex.
I'm sure the software is great (haven't installed it yet) but initially, it just looks so confusing and daunting. Where do you start?! Do I need that menu option? God - I've right clicked something, and now another huge context menu has popped up.
Need to rest my eyes now ...

Carc, Thanks. It wasn't a literal question, sorry. More from the initial view of opening the software, its not clear what to do, and the screen is just FULL of icons, buttons, menus, etc. I'm sure each one does something, but for the new user, its just so daunting. I'd recommend a 'Noddy beginners' mode maybe - where the interface just contains the bare minimum to work - 'add new node', 'save' and 'bold', 'italic', 'underline' options. Beginners don't need bookmarks, 1001 tabs, tabs under tabs, context menus with a plethora of options. But just a suggestion.

Got this software a few years back. Excellent program for organization. Now have Win10, fingers crossed, lets see what happens. I highly recommend this program!!
