I absolutely detest companies that lead you up the garden path then slam the gate shut in your face. This so called free offering is no more that the equivalent of a shareware try out, it only listed 40 of my licence keys and asked to upgrade to get the rest. Off my computer it comes and on my blacklist goes this software developer. Do they take people for fools.

Tony, In response to XenArmor Support Team's response off site, it actually only listed about 10 keys out of the 40, the other 30 showed nothing useful.

I don't get this, I have put the key in, been told it has registered correctly, but it will only find 32 keys and that if I want to find any more on this PC I need to upgrade.
In other words this is a trial, not full software, which I thought GotD was supposed to provide.
Uninstalled as it is a cheat.

Monitored in a Win7 32-bit VM, the installation routine, while not bad at all, is a bit excessive for what is essentially a 3 file app. To answer an earlier comment, the activation data is stored in a registry key, and the app won't run without it, so no, it is not portable. As far as keys go, it's dependent on how apps store their keys, *If* they store them at all... Office / Microsoft 365 is a subscription, so no keys, period. Photoshop is also a subscription, but it reported a [non-existent?] key anyway (?)(!). Don't know what to tell you re: Win10 -- XenArmor All-In-One Key Finder Pro Personal 2020 as well as Nirsoft produkey report a different Win10 key than what was used to activate Win10 Pro. XenArmor All-In-One Key Finder Pro Personal 2020 did find Ashampoo, Cyberlink, & quite a few GOTD keys.

Installation added a C:\ProgramData\ Caphyon folder, a C:\Users\ [UserName]\ AppData\Roaming\XenArmor\ folder, C:\Windows\ Installer\ 4e425.msi, C:\Windows\ Installer\ SourceHash{99443679-63B3-496F-B801-C8D68E1D53E0}, C:\Windows \Installer\ {99443679-63B3-496F-B801-C8D68E1D53E0}, along with the app's program folder. The registry gets 1 Caphyon installer key, a few Windows installer keys, a couple of XenArmor keys, and one unusual key: HKCU\ Software\ AI_RecycleBin.

That said, all the app needs are 3 of the files in the app's folder, and 3 registry entries to run fine -- I copied those files from the VM, and added [merged] the 3 registry entries in this copy of Win10, and it runs fine.

How is this any better than "free" Belarc Advisor which gives a detail view of all your keys and software and hardware?.

Belarc advisor is no comparison.

I have to agree, Andy M.

Following your recommendation I installed Belarc Advisor. Apart from the very comprehensive system info it provided, it found _far_ more product keys than XenArmor, most notably the key for my installed Microsoft Office suite. There's no comparison between the two key finders.

Actually , the website works in Microsoft Edge but failed in Chrome and Firefox browsers.

Steve, Try Again: Works fine with Slimjet (Chrome Alternative), Firefox, Vivaldi. Sorry! Don't use Edge, but tried on a Microsoft Alternative and nothing worked very well.

I was a bit skeptical about using this but it worked GREAT. It retrieved the information on my MS Office Pro product key and ID that I hadn't been able to find before. The info had been deleted accidentily and I could not re-install without the keys. Thank you!

Downloaded and installed, no problem but only found 12 keys. Cannot be used for finding other registered keys as shown on video. Will uninstall. Thanks for trying.

So much for the 1000+ claim, when run only 7 keys were found and one of the keys found was it's own key. Despite the disclaimer that finding the keys for third party software depends on the version number, my newest software installs of latest versions wasn't found. Sorry but not worth the time and effort and will be uninstalled. There is freeware software that does a much better job of finding product keys.

There used to be a program called Magic Jellybean (or something like that) which was free, and which could pull your product reg info for installed programs -- out of the Win Registry, I think. Don't know if this is still around, or if it has had any continued development. There are a couple other programs in this category that I've heard of, but I need to find out whether they are paid or free.

Eldad, Its not even an honest trial. It will only find at the max 40 keys most of which aren't complete and ask you to upgrade to see more. So really its just shareware and not what's described.
