My girlfriend has an iPhone.. I want to make our favoriate song the ringtone of it.

I search in google for ringtone software, I found a lot of iPhone ringtone makers.. Of course, all of them is shareware.

But I want to purchase the best, does someone have any experience of these software? Can you give me a review?

Decent software,ripped one film perfectly,but ripped an anime film and the video was perfect but the audio was out everyone talked in sloooow mooottiioonn.
Any idea why?

The best compact all-in-one utility for the job. It gets the job done, good overall quality, good processing speed, plenty of formats. Just what I was looking for long time. Christmas is now!

OK..I just opened amerisoft DVD.And its giving me the unregistered pop up box...I opened the program several different times the day I installed it,and everything was cool...now tonight,I want to back up a dvd and im getting an unregistered box pop up...would you all mind posting a link to fix this,or email me a link...I think its kinda lame for the vendor to change their crap around ,right when the time is expiring,and then people get screwed with a non-working program...

After the registration problem, I uninstalled it. Not worth the hassle...use DVD Ghost. Finally possibly a worthwhile program here, and nothing but trouble registering. Figures.

why would anyone want to buy the program after U have downloaded and Installed it. U have been given the full latest version of the program for free including the Registration for the same. The only thing missing is Back-up for the program, U can get that from the URL Web Page. Please stop being a group of Dills, Please

I am one more in your list. After installing and worked on one movie on the first day.
Today I tried it again. But....to my surprise (as you all expected) a popup box is asking for Registration code.
Then I went back to http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/aimersoft-dvd-ripper/#comments and I got some positive comments.

Try going over the forums. There is a workaround by bubby which requires you to create a reg file and run it.

2. Change your PC clock's date to 2099.
3. Run the reg file.
4. Change the date back.

Aimersoft dvd ripper. A BIG DISSAPOINTMENT!!! Surely it must be a beta version. I tried it with XP and Vista and it failed to open any DVD at all in both cases. Jokeware someone said. Yes Jokeware it is, but GOTD should be more serious and not release jakes anymore. OK ? Very dissapointed. 1 out of 10 is too much.

It is not all users, at least mine still is registered.
I download it late, may be some of you download it early before the update (#81)

I still like to go back and read things I miss! Anyway I was going to mention to some. I see some people say it doesnt work because of size issue etc. One thing I have learned over the years of doing video work is that if you are running windows under a FAT32 setup on your drives you will be hitting the 2.x gig limit for file size. To fix this issue you can save your files to either a new partition using NTFS or a different drive formatted as NTFS. Then you will not have any restrictions. Some of you might have experienced this as well using other software creating video or ripping movies and the product not work for you. I learned this the hard way hahaha...

#213 is exactly right. Currently, my software says unregistered. When I change my clock back 12 hours, it then becomes registered again. Set it back to the real time...unregistered. Smooth.

It is not some users... it is all users. It seems that the key is valid for only 24 hours.

It's 8:35 pm here in Paris. The soft is registered.
I installed it around 10:00 pm. If it set my computer clock to, let's say, 10:05 pm, it's no longer registered.

Well, I spoke too soon. Software hung up my system when I cancelled the application because it was taking too long ( 1 1/2 hours remaining..I don't think so!)
Will watch for re-offer when the bugs are worked out.

Agreed with 210, it was registered yesterday and not today. All was good at GOTD till this. Such a good app, but not free at all.

Please let us know if it is ever fixed GOTD, still greatfull for your efforts.

Registration problem that hit some of Aimersoft DVD Ripper users - solution incoming

It said activitation complete! but it asks for registration for using movie file, i cant use it!!! please help me!!!

and now i read all of the above comments and realise it wasnt just me. problem is that i already uninstalled it. will we get the chance to re-download it again on monday?

bugger. i have been waiting for this for a long time. i downloaded it and thought i activated it, but didnt use it straight away. i went to use it today and it said that it wasnt registered. typical. i missed it.

I tried multiple times to download the DVD ripper but every time I went to the download link I ended up at some other site called "Word" something or other. (I forgot the rest of the site's name) :)

I have an older machine HP Pavilion 525 ( # 199) ,the software is working fine, but the application is far slower than others I have used. When cancelling the process, it takes just as long to cancel as it did to rip...

DVD Ripper solution will most probably be ready on Monday, please don’t worry, you WILL get your chance to receive fully functional version if you were affected by the registration problem.

I activated fine yesterday, no pop-up windows or anything. Been using the site for months now never had problems. But mine unregistered itself overnight as well, it was fine last night and now it says unregistered version again. Very annoying, does the unregistered version have full features too? Or is it a trial that will expire in 2 weeks?

The software is still free. Just put the clock back to 23rd May 2007 before starting the software. And it run as registered again.

This is extremely BAD publisity for Aimersoft, you should mention that.

Just so everyone knows; this program is NOT FOR WEAK MACHINES! This is a CPU intensive process and if you have an older computer or perhaps one with a slower processor than 3 GHz, than you WILL have problems. A lot of the complaints about this program not working properly are due to sub par computers. You cannot expect fast, flawless performance from this program unless your computer is fast and flawless. Your 3-year-old HP isn't gonna cut it with this program. So quit whining and educate yourself about computers.

I didn't seem to have the problems with activating yesterday on Vista Home. My account is set up as an administrator (although sometimes Vista seems to ignore that), so I guess that's the reason. It launched and didn't ask for registration yesterday. Didn't have time to rip something to try it then (I installed in the evening and then had a car fire - great day)...

I launched this morning and now it's unregistered?!? I'm going to leave it alone for today in case Aimersoft comes through with something for Slava, since there's no way to reinstall once the Day period is over. But tomorrow morning before I go to work I will be uninstalling if there is no movement on this - What a crappy experience with this program!

I have used GAotD for more than a month and have gotten many useful programs and appreciated the ones that just weren't for me. Some have been duds (moreso in the games lately), but I really appreciate getting this stuff for free. I am not hammering GAotD for this days software or for the recent problems with sometimes not being able to connect to the site since the work done on it the other day. Sometimes there are problems and they will probably be taken care of eventually.

But if Aimersoft doesn't come through with a registration, I won't have to worry about ever using one of their products again! More like I won't volunteer to be a beta tester for them again!!

Checking registry you'll see that their registration is just a flag named OneDay. Seams at that's all they give us for all the work we done debuging this software. Not a big loss for me though since I only got the user interface working even when it was registered. Every attempt to open a DVD resulted in an error message saying:
"Could not convert variant of type (OleStr) into type (Double)". Aimersoft surely made themselves the Joke of the Day. Thanks anyway GAOTD. I got many nice pieces of SW through your service. Hope you will offer some DVD Authoring SW soon.

Can’t get this program to start. I Have tried 4 times. I tried installing then activating then uninstalling and downloading again. I tried commenting this but comments were not taking comments either. I have XP HOME with SP2.
