This is a bad bad program. It removed file that need. Had to do a system restore to find only some of the files and remove is bad bad program.

GREAT! :)

Had some issue with the display driver and UPlay. When trying to move the windows of UPlay around, all in the window turned white. ?
After doing some Registry Cleaning with a lot programs, no result.
A lot of them can sometimes fixes something, that other programs can't, this goes about a lot too, like Driver Updater.
It's just the way it is.

So, about this MANY THANKS, IT'S FIXED! :)

Once I found the activation code in the Read me.txt and used it I was able to get ASC Pro.

Sorry Folks.. I blamed Advanced SystemCare for being packed with Malware. It is not packed full of hate. The real deceiver's name was "Driver Easy Professional". I installed Advanced SystemCare and wow, Nice speed is back. I didn't know how sneaky some Malware is to strike and point to the innocent. Sorry again.

Once downloaded you'll notice the word FREE behind Advanced System Care instead of the word PRO. That's because this is Advanced System Care FREE. After tricking us into thinking we are gettin the PRO version while really giving us the FREE version, they kindly offer to let us buy Advanced System Care PRO at a discount. Go back and open the "READ ME" file. You will find a license key that will change the Free to Pro, showing yet again the importance of READING the "READ ME" file on giveaway software.

How do I activate this?? I go to the Activate box in the bottom right hand corner and click it and then it takes me to a online page to buy the program.

Select that box, then pick bottom line option - then you can validate licence.

Karen James, There is usually a very small "Already have a license key (or code) link either underneath the activate box or very close. Look for it and have fun.

With the GOTD Package came a ReadMe.txt & the offered program.
Assuming, you downloaded the software offer from GOTD.

Go to the Unzipped file, or with an Unzipper that can open a file without unzipping all the files, and open it, read it and you will find the answer you need.

When there are ReadMe files with offers, READ THEM!
When reading them, you can see How & What.
Not here financially, but somewhere else it could save some trouble, no matter which trouble.

At GOTD:
It can let you know if it's a Lifetime License, or How Long;
It can let you know if there are Any Costs;
It can let you know What to do;
It can let you know if there are future Updates and/or Upgrades can be installed;
And so on.

This is a good utility and I used to have it on my computer in the past. It does a good job, too. I finally ditched it in favor of utilities that are just as good and take up 1/3 the space and use less resources--Win Utilities and Wise Care 365. If IOBit would pare it down to size I would be willing to go back to it. I use other IOBit programs but this one I pass on.

seagrape, If you are using Wise Care 365, you might want to disable registry cleaning. My experience with Wise Care 365 Pro is that the registry cleaning can and does break some shortcuts wherever they may be leaving you with a pictureless icon. Otherwise, this program is great to use.

seagrape, I did the same thing. Dropped ASC Pro for Wise 365 on the Black Friday sale. It does just as good and no annoying use this other IObit product. But I still think Driver Booster is the best of its kind.

Downloaded and installed without any problem on Win 10 ver. 1909. Like the new interface and the program offers a lot of functionalities (sometimes already present in Windows tools). First tested Junk files cleanup. There is no selection possible about what files to clean. Same weakness about drivers update. It's all or nothing. Seems very risky to me ... Fortunately, the selection is however possible for the registry cleaner. Software updates is inaccurate and did only mention a google chrome update that is up to date. For many not up to date programs, the software found nothing. The Toolbox is useless, as it requires new downloads. If you use this program, make sure to uncheck the "automatically fix" ans "turn on all functions" boxes if you don't want to end up with a BSOD. Many options work very well, but some further explanation about found items should be welcome. I should keep the program if I always could select what items to delete or to fix in all sections (like in the registry cleaner or vulnerability fix).

But I find the IObit Toolbox the shining resource - but, at least for those who don't value items in the Toolbox, it does not download any tools until the first time we use them - system settings, deactivating programs, startup programs are great tools.

And we can toggle on or off whatever it finds in temp file cleaning AFTER it finds something, same for most other scans, too, but you're right, there's no temp file pre-selection before scanning.

And of course never run anything in auto mode, instead, we must take responsibility for our own choices - manually inspect results before telling it to go ahead and delete found objects.

And also remember to turn off unintended background installations and nags from IObit if they bother us, the Toolbox ironically has tools to help do this, and I also recommend FREE Microsoft SysInternals AutoRuns to toggle anything that auto runs.

Note: IObit Pro features expire in 6 months, but the majority of the program keeps working just fine.

A nice program with several small programs into it. I like it very much but I also like Wise Cleaner 365. Strange is that they found differtent things somtimes. I clerly recomend Oibit and WiseCleaner as well.

It is a PRO license holding marathon.

By the way, ASC is an integrated utility of IObit.
What makes Windows faster with this kind of software
- Possibility, very low spec PC.
- Windows environment is dirty, very dirty.

To be honest, registry cleanup and compaction have little effect on operation.
There is actually a cleanup effect, as unnecessary entries are deleted, but it has a significant effect on the psychological side.

Cleaning garbage files contributes to the capacity of HDDs and SSDs.
Maybe there are many people who are useful here personally.

The cleaner is a double-edged sword.
When doing deep clean, understanding of PC is required as such regardless of ASC.

Personally, I like CCleaner.
ASC Pro uses it on another PC, while playing "Chasing and renew PRO license" games.

I have a clean up process which I use. First I run CCleaner then Advanced SystemCare, and lastly Avast Cleanup Premium. The Avast process always finds additional cleanup that can be done. Please improve the Advanced SystemCare cleanup process.

The speed of the registry processing could also be improved and I wouldn't complain.

I've used Advanced SystemCare Pro for several years. This is product works well and is one of a very few processes I would allow to clean my registry. The process is easy to use, has a well designed UI, and is responsive when I've written with questions. While I also use Avast and CCleaner, I also recommend this product if you need a general system maintenance software as it can do more than these other products.

I have 13.2 I like the way it looks now - not sure what other things changed with this version but it works as well if not better than the last version did so I am happy.

i am not going to download this program as i am a bit upset as i have been using it for a few years and have just updated mine to the latest version and paid for it so that is why i am not going to download it

IT IS A GREAT PROGRAM AND WELL WORTH PAYING FOR IT

I have downloaded it twice, and it is only Downloading the Free Version, When you click on "Activate" it goes straight to the Purchase page and requests payment, name email and the method for payment. I have used Advanced System Care Free for years and it has always been very reliable. Don't know how to get this version.
