• Get installation file as well as instruction file from Giveaway of the Day (click the green button at the beginning of this web page), and then install the program properly on your computer.
• Follow the instruction to obtain keycode from AceThinker campaign page. Once clicking “Get giveaway Version” button, you’ll see a pop-up window which contains keycode.
• Now go to run the software, click “Active” on the welcome window (or click the user’s icon on top-right menu), and then enter your registration keycode directly into the field.
• Click “Confirm” to finish your registration and enjoy!

Did everything right and got a successful Activation msg but after a restart of the program it gives a valid until:False msg. This would have to be the most ridiculously complicated activation of a program I have come across in all the years I've been on GOTD.

I have other software by AceThinker. (Video Keeper, Video Master) so Video Editor already knew who I was, but that didn't help. Wrote to AceThinker support. Lets see what happens with them.

Of the many years I've used giveawayoftheday this is easily the most difficult registration process I've had the misfortune to come across. It's a big home goal for the software vendor - if you can't get the registration process right, the chance of the software being simple to use seems remote. Hopefully it will uninstall without leaving too much dross behind; though I'm not confident.

Anyone know this Video Editor like others, allows you to Batch trim & enhance Videos, or sound , then "batch" export the edited videos to ext. drive?
Or still can only edit & export each video at a time? Sorry, could not confirm this info anywhere on website. Thanks

Would activate but was unactivated when the app was closed -> restarted -- the last lines in AceThinker Video Editor.exe.log say: "IsExpired=True, IsActivated=False, IsActivatedByActivateKey=False"
This is a fairly basic video editor with lots of files in 3 folders, with it seems a bit of duplication [sames files in more than one place]... there's the program's folder, ProgramData\ AceThinker, Users\ [UserName]\ AppData\ Roaming\ AceThinker, plus an empty folder in My Documents. AceThinker Video Editor relies on ffmpeg as expected, but also uses Avisynth, which I didn't expect. IMHO that's not as much a question of quality as it is of speed -- Avisynth was more a niche app used years ago to help make up for the fact there were very few good consumer grade video editing tools. AFAIK most have moved on to the newer Vapoursynth when similar operations are required. AceThinker Video Editor also uses some free plugins from frei0r. The recorded stats in my Win7 32-bit VM:

At first pop up windows for input activation code was copy paste the code and coming second windows with message `your software has been activated` then click OK button. At last windows was coming as follows .... Version : personal and Valid until : false .... several time re install with no luck ....

ilhami, Video Master is majorly used for converting media files with some additional functions to manage them. On the other hand, Video Editor is for you to polish your video clips with transition effects, story line, sound effect, etc.
