Licence key deactivated suddenly yesterday - watermark now. Won't accept the key again - says 'invalid'.

Can't find actuvatuin code or link anywhere

Text editing is a pain: once you've pushed the striketext button, you hardly add some non-struck text after the struck text as at first any attempt to push back that button is unsuccessful (even trying to push some alternative option); then, it works suddenly, but after you spent ages in waiting and hoping. The same when you want to edit a text box from scratch. I went back to Foxit from a previous GAOTD and did what I wanted in short time. Thank you to the firm to offer their product, but it is far from being ready to market.

I have been very impressed with AceThinker's support after I bought a license. Jim has been very professional and very helpful.

The software has a few rough edges, but this looks to be one amazing piece of software. This app is a keeper. Well worth the purchase.

After double clicking setup file, it took me to their site stating Acethinker PDF Writer 1.0 activated — what next?
I tried several times to install the program but no luck.
Where is the program?
What NEXT?
This one is useless because no program will be installed.

it was avira... found the culprit, stopped the virus proggie and installed like a charm. awesome. it edited one of my pdf... took a long time to save... got me scared... very cool.

The PDF I opened cannot be saved after changes, such as rotate page to the right. This makes the program pointless to keep.

My production machine is NOT connected to the internet (simplest Virus Protection). You can't register this application on a non-connected PC...

Other Software houses provide for off-line activation: Steinberg, Native Instruments, Adobe come to mind.

In it's current form the registration proccess is a fail for me. Deleted.

Installed and registered OK on two Windows 10 computers after I suspended the anti-virus program which was blocking installation. I opened a couple of pdf files on both computers and tried to edit them but couldn't make any changes to text or graphics. I tried to open two more pdf files on both computers but got the runtime error message which caused the program to terminate. Perhaps these problems could be easily resolved via customer support but I haven't got the time. Uninstalled.

it activates it. Then does nothing except take you to the registration page. Obtaining the registration code is great - but it would be nice to have the program to go with it! (I am on Windows 8 by the way)

Seems like a potentially useful program but...No Undo/Redo function as noted above. This is a deal-breaker for me.

Cant insert text into existing document. Wrap around overlays the text on the line below. Useless.

This program is built with lot of bugs!!!
It never opens just by clicking on the pdf file, you have to go to the program and open the desired file even after being made this program as default
I prefer pdf-xchange viewer is much better than this which is free version

I wish to thank both teams...the AceThinker PDF Writer and GOTD for this program. I am a rookie compared to most but I had no problem with installing the application (Win 7 Ultimate) and used it already to rotate some pages on a few PDF files. Worked great! Looking forward to using it more and will consider purchase of the complete version. Again Thanks for the program.

Good potential and features I want and will use. But, could not get far after inserting an image. Could not get it sized to fit the page, way too large.
I could insert a pdf file but it wanted the entire file and could not insert a selected page from a file. So, extra steps to delete all the unwanted pages.
Did see the text inserted vertically on one document where3 it should have been horiz on a portrait page and tried again on another and it was correctly oriented. Seemed random.
No free upgrades so the flaws need to be lived with, some of which are unlivable. Such as the image sizing issue. The help was minimal and not helpful to my needs.

This program has a lot of comments, but I was wondering why there is no Undo command (and Redo as well). Ever think about adding those? Any editing operation needs an Undo. The only other recourse is to re-open the same file, but if several other operations were already completed and the user is happy with those modifications, the user doesn't want to lose their completed work. Starting from scratch again is a killer for me to use this program.

Jumped through all the usual hoops and managed to install & reg without any problems. Tested on several PDF files from very simple to very complex with loads of graphics and it failed on even the simplest of documents. Got a message saying text was rotated ... No it wasn't ... and to use the Touchup tool ... Couldn't find. After that the program spat the dummy out and crashed. Tried a second time but it still didn't want to play. This time it was me that spat the dummy out and uninstalled it. Another wasted morning!

Looks good - installed and registered OK.
Only problem is that once I open a file, the menus etc just vanish I can't seem to get them back.
It seems to switch to some kind of full viewing mode - but, then I cannot do anything to it except view the file?
How do I get the menus back?

No key code populates on screen after clicking "Install" from dropdown "Help" menu. Says to input the key "sent to me" but there was nothing ever sent.

Complete mess of an install for Win10, x64 Home. Yes, I did manually traipse through all of the comments, went to the hidden web pages to download and watch the video with the secret activation page, and deactivated AVG antivirus, etc. Never got the GOTD setup.exe to work properly at all. I think this software is installed now by manual steps, thanks to vendor's feedback in the comments thread, but this software is not ready for prime time distribution. Thanks for the effort, and good luck with this software.

A really attractively designed interface, easy on the eye, easy-to-use.

Edit tool, Pages, brings up a lot of really useful functions such as, insert from file, insert blank page, extract, replace, split document, crop and rotate.
Page design, has a number of useful functions below it they are, header and footer, background, watermark and Bates numbering, the latter I have no idea what it is.

A very mature version one, really attractive interface and lots of very useful functions, most definitely a keeper.

Download does not work on my win10 64 bit system. I follow all directions, go to the link provided, enter name and email, click to obtain registration code, and the program will not load. There is no desktop icon nor any app that was loaded. My clipboard had the registration code but no program to run.
Too bad, I could use this program.

Test with a pdf created with LibreOffice (LO). Very simple, with a few tables, no image. On one word, AbleWord (*) chocked and created an image of it; couldn't manage to do the correction. Funnily, this GOTD chocked on the very same word (and maybe more). FYI, LO has no problem editing the pdf (the contrary would be quite surprising).

Tried to edit the word. A window pops up saying: "The text is rotated, please use Tochup to edit it". No, the text isn't rotated. What is this "Tochup", and where is it located? No clue. (And yes, I read the documentation, which, as it's become a bad habit, is available only on the Internet ---a shame for a $40 software.)

Anyway. Deleted the image, try to remove empty space... software crashes. Thanks. This can be repeated at will. I mean, after 2 crashes, I think it's not worth trying again.

Suggestion Provide "How to Use PDF Writer" as a downloadable PDF file, rather than only giving info on the webpage.

I wanted to know how to attach a cover (separate graphic image) to the front of the PDF file. Your guide doesn't tell me. Can it be done with this program?

nice job done as advertised. well, may not compare to Acrobat Pro. but c'mon, this is quite enough for most PDF editing and worth money definitely. thanks GOTD!

Installed and registered OK on Win10 64-bit. Tried it out on a complex pdf of a type I have to extract info from regularly using Acrobat X Pro full/Foxit Reader and that you would expect many such programs to fail. There is some vertical text and plent of fancy setting out.

And it did. This message comes up at every left click. "This text is rotated, please use the Tochup [sic] Tool to edit it."
As far as I could see, the program does not have a Touchup Tool.
It allowed me to delete a few graphics, then crashed (twice).
"Select all" (graphics) just selected all the graphics on one page, not the whole document.
I then tried it at altering and adding text to some slightly simpler pdfs I create myself. It did better at this than Acrobat XPro. and I will try it out properly on this task the next time I have to do it.
Still plenty for the authors to improve in later versions.

My ByteFence detected "Adware.Softdeluxe-giveaway.Installer" when I ran Setup.exe.
I have recently removed the adware from my computer. Can this adware be removed after install without harming the program?

Claims it got registered after I unzipped and run Setup.exe but can´t find it on mi laptop to run it.
Any ideas ?

Download easy as is registration. Clean simple interface, no clutter.
Posting user guides is an excellent idea and they are easy to understand.

Interesting software, does some common things, BUT, it allows you to edit text and images in a pdf, this is usually seen only in costly programs, and often not even then.
I would suggest that when text edits are done, the edited text should be seen in the edited doc.
This program allows easy replacement of OCR'd misspellings.
Program also allows insertion of images into a pdf, also very useful.
All in all, a keeper in my pdf manipulation tool box.

Wow, a program you can use if you are hanging on to XP.

They left out one little step in the registration process, which should be obvious to most of you, but---:

To paste the code you got from their web site, click "Help" in the program menu, select "Install Key", paste the key code you copied from their web page (following their directions, of course), click "OK" and you are done.

It installed fine for me, Win 10 etc, etc, etc.

It's an easy install if you follow the directions they give, but as usual if you decide you don't need to follow no stinking directions, you will likely have problems, with subsequent whining and complaining.
