It's too bad that people are having a negative experience with this version. I have the version from October, 2014, and am very pleased with it. I used a paper Daytimer, and hadn't found any calendaring software that replaced it for the way I used it. Finally figured out that most calendaring software I had tried had calendar bells and whistles, but just gave a passing glance to task management. I don't need full-fledged project management, but to do lists are not enough. I need a task manager with bells and whistles that gives a passing glance to calendaring, and Leader Task is the first one I found that works well for that. As for disabled features, I don't recall anything being disabled in that version.

i have uninstalled this program still trying to work out what the giveaway was as it had the most important features disabled

Every feature worth using is unavailable in the GOTD version. Useless as offered. I wasted my time installing nothing more than an advertisement for the real program that has to be purchased.

Nice looking program, but the GOTD version is way too limited to be of any real use to anyone. There are freeware programs that can do the same and more. Won't be keeping this.

The search function is disabled? Are you kidding me?? The description says "The program is available for $25.00,
but it will be free for our visitors as a time-limited offer." You are not getting the same program that sells for $25. It should say: This limited functionality version is made free...

And what about the people that work by night ? Only useful for day tasks ! From 08:00 to 19:00 !!! Should be a way to use 00:00 to 24:00. I need it, so will surely happen with many more people.

Installed without any problems. It's registered to GOTD with me as the user. As noted in the description, this version does not support sync (and does not support search).

I thought I'd take a look at this and it looks interesting but I will have to stick with my current setup. My needs aren't complicated enough to buy a dedicated program but I do want to be able to view my notes/tasks/personal projects wherever I happen to be - not just at this computer. Thank you anyway.

I too have just installed this program and it says i need to buy it.it says this feature is only available in the paid version.

How do I activate?

Dermot, its already activated, even i am facing the same problem.
Some features like Print,Administrator and find option are not available, maybe under Paid version.
Why this be on a Giveaway when one needs to purchase.
Am uninstalling as i write down.

Under "Account" it show that the User, Organization, and License are all "GOTD". According to the description above, this version does not include sync or search. When you click your name (with the sync icon) or click the search icon, you get the message that those features are only available in the paid version.

You have already written about this in the description of programs and actions -
"The Search function and Synchronization function are disabled in this version".
Activating the program is not required!
