Freeware alternatives include ccleaner for removing old/temp files, and Revo Uninstaller for thorough uninstalls with registry scans. FYI.
It is unclear if Uninstaller Pro does more than the add/remove program feature in the XP Control Panel. If not, it is unneeded. If it does, there is a possibility that it might remove a dll file that is needed by other programs. This is worrisome.
It has a nice clean interface and a good range of options at first glance; will have to try the registry scanning and brute force uninstaller to comment on how they work. Includes a control panel applet too. For a free alternative, have a look at Revo Uninstaller (portable version available too)
