GIFs that normally automatically repeat multiple times are played only once "by default" when loaded. That option can be changed in the option settings. To change a GIF to repeat multiple times is an editor function, but is also in the option settings. That is confusing because the Options settings panel is then used for two different things. The options panel should be for overall functions, not for actual changed made when editing.
The ability to change how many times to make a GIF repeat should be on the regular Editing function panel that allows other things to be changed/edited.
The two functions should be clearly separated; settings in one view, and editing the actual GIF in another, which in this case, is the default display screen.

M. H. My experience having just installed it is that the text doesn't appear in the preview (Thundersoft, can you fix that), but when exported it does and then you can see it also within the software.

The "show text to all frames" doesn't work in case you want to add a text that's visible throughout the whole animation. Looks like a severe bug to me. Unfortunately, it's the feature I would have used this tool for. So, it's a thumbs down from me.

@ M. H.,
It works for me nominally!
Hints:
- be sure Rebuild is chosen
- don't leave x & y to zero ... try 10 10 e.g.
Also note that if you insert a picture, it will not be set inside the one chosen frame but will be added as new frame!

M. H., yes it does work, you just have to choose a good placement and a a good contrasting with all frame backgrounds where the text will be placed... takes a bit of trial and error experimentation but it does work.
