This program looks awesome -- it covers more conversions than I will ever need. Though I won't get a chance to use it immediately, I'm guessing it will be my goto converter.



GAOTD should have standards again and require that every app provider meet them. Sure we are getting free stuff, and are mostly appreciative, but the app providers benefit as well, esp. when they give away quality goods like this WonderFox, which I will most likely buy as I am sure many others will once they see how much this application offers.

You can ignore my previous comment about not being able to put a file into the program. I rebooted my computer and now everything works fine.

This downloaded and installed just fine on my Windows 10, but I can't figure out how to get a file into it. When I go to where my videos are, if I click one to open in the program, it just opens in my video player, not in the program. I've tried dragging and dropping like it says, but that doesn't work either. I can't find a "Help" file anywhere in the program or online. Please help and tell me how to get a video into the program. I'm a pretty experienced computer user and I know I'm not dumb, so please help. It installed into my Programs 86 folder. Also, an icon on my desktop.

I downloaded the program, but can not find were it was installed .

I have used this software for 2 years. Windows 7 64 bit. convert from mp2 to mp4, wmv. Never had any problems. Tested out this version. Works great

I had no problems downloading or installing on win7 Ultimate 32 bit. I installed it in a different folder than the older version I had, and it did not remove or overwrite the previous version, so if you're concerned about it uninstalling a previous version, try installing it to a different folder, e.g., instead of installing in the default folder, add 9.0 to the folder name to keep it from changing the version you have. However, it did not require me to register it with the new license number to show it as registered.

I DID have to add it to Bitdefender's list to keep Bitdefender's ransomware module from blocking it.

It says it is Wondershares last version of a converter, but it cannot convert to or from H265! So, it is not, actually and unfortunately, a top notch product.

I am having all the usual problems as noted above.

I did manage to install version 8.8 after turning off my antivirus.

So I uninstalled that and was told that I had just in uninstalled 9.0. But I cannot find 9.0 after attempting to reinstall it.

Sent the following to GOTD.

Thought you might like to know that when I ran this Wonderfox software through
Virus Total it detected "HW32.Packed.41F0" with the Bkav anti virus product.
Would this be safe to download ?

Their reply, Please note that we check all our offers before they appear on or site, so I assume this might be a false positive.

So will probably download Wonderfox. Great product.

Installs fine but then errors out when you later try to launch the program with memory access violations. Unusable. Uninstalled. Windows 7 Professional 64Bit.

I have Wonderfox DVD Ripper Pro 9. Fantastic app by the way. Super fast ripping and conversion. I just wonder what the difference is, as this app rips and converts DVDs as well.

My Windows 10 (64bit) won't install from gcd's. (Last time I tried going into safe mode to do the GOTD install and unbeknown to me, W10 was doing an update. W10 took ages rolling back the updates, and then booted itself into its normal mode. In the end I gave up on whatever it was I had wanted to install.)

With XP any "ripper" software used to interfere with my packet writing. Does anyone know whether W10 has this problem?

Tested the Wonderfox Converters many many times but the flaws that make it impossible to be used by me remained in all versions. There are a lot of parameters that can be set under settings, but the converted video hardly ever complies with those settings, cropping only goes right in output preview (resulting output is different), output resolution (no 720x576 in mp4 b.t.w.) is never correct after using the crop function, volume at "keep original" is boosted & often distorted, subtitles that work perfectly well in other converters: it accepts it, but they're not shown in de output. A bit sad to see that nothing has changed in this version too.

Good thing I had read the comments, because I, too, downloaded the giveaway with no problem. The box popped up that said it was activated...and also for me - NO PROGRAM. I too cannot uninstall since I can't find it in my program files, so please advise.
I download many things and have never had this happen before either. I am running Windows 10.

Downloaded this and seemed good on my Win10 64bit machine. Various capabilities really make this outstanding. You can convert video, download YouTube while I had a network problem, it didn't download an 4K video smoothly...Still worth keeping.

Did everything as per instructions (as I always do with GAOTD apps) - ran setup.exe - but no sign of program - no desktop icon, nothing in Program Files (x86) except an empty folder "WonderFox Soft". So where is it?

Previous version (8.x) was great, multi-core converter with good quality result.
so, recommended.
