Downloaded the program. Entered the key and it stated "Activation failed. You may be a victim of software counterfeiting...etc"

Same issue as everyone else. Will not activate error. Something about maybe a victim of counterfeit. And before anyone else comments restart the application or your computer and make sure your VPN is off... I did that. Still same issue. This is what happens when companies try to use the same key for a bunch of people on the same program. Please fix this. Thanks!

I did. I restarted program, then laptop, then uninstalled, ran cleaner, reinstalled and it still says license not activated i could be a victim of possible couterfeiting.
I even downloaded software from the direct source.

J, probably not as the program needs installation and installs required drivers into Windows/system32. It basically requires a working system.

You should be able to boot the device to a USB stick/drive containing Window to Go, WinPE, Linux etc., & they should see the hard disk in question as active or connected. You can then run whatever software, including TS DataWiper if installed on a Windows To Go USB stick/drive. You can also of course pull the drive and connect it to a working system. Note: if the drive you want to wipe is an SSD, it may have it's own command/function in firmware to zero all stored data, so check the manufacturer's web site for info & directions etc.
