etienne, I was able to download and installing it. BUT registering the license key does not work. I tried many times and on different days and it says that there is a internet connection problem. I have never had this issue before (with Franzis Verlag).

etienne, and all, I've purchased several low price bundles from Franzis so I have an account with them. When I try to get a freebie, I have to sign in and it takes me to my account where the link to download and the key is available there. It also shows the programs that you've downloaded previously. Both purchased and free.
I believe you could create an account so you could sign in as well. Before you request a freebie. They also have Giveaways on their site if you go to the dashboard.
I have downloaded other programs and didn't get the key. Sometimes a link is there to get the key from a previous download but I've emailed support a few times to get the key.

I have no problem downloading/installing and activating SwifDoo to the Pro version - however, as soon as I open the program or a PDF file, the program shuts itself down ..... Any idea why? I am using Windows 11. Thanks.

Colin, I gave up trying to install this without the trial showing up each time, so I uninstalled it. If they can't get this right, then I don't want anything to do with them.

HR, It could be that these have all been offered before - nothing new here for most regular visitors to the site - but excellent for those that have missed them.

It does not, I learned that the hard way. No where in the installation or README does it say it doesn't support video download. DON'T UPGRADE if you have the Giveaway version that supports video download.

Only three permanent licenses are a good offering, but these three aren't AOMEI isn't "giving away" much of its own stuff. I have a couple of their programs from other Giveaways (some of which were discounted versions) so it is hard to tell whether it is worth uninstalling my older version for one of these.

Fred Sandeen, No they're not. I only downloaded Wise Care and Videoproc and the latter is also a lifetime license. I downloaded another, just to check, which was also a lifetime license. Maybe I just got lucky, but that's still more with lifetime licenses than you claimed.

Joel, yes you have to download each program but in every zip file there is a 'License Key.txt' type file which describes the term (e.g., "It is a 1-year code which entitles you to use it for free for one year.") so you can decide if you want it prior to installing.

Mark, The zip file is 1KB, very small, containing on a readme.txt file which has a link in it. The link is to a page on which one can download individual items, one by one. Just the ones you want. Merry Christmas!

Mark, you just download the one you want. The download from Giveaway is just a text link to a website where all the separate programs are listed

Mark, I downloaded (individually) the ones I wanted from the web page provided AOMEI, you have to go to the page. The links are primarily to individual zip files with the installation executable, along with a README.txt with instructions for each.

The Zip files are not really big, 4-6MB in most cases.

isaac, It's just a few lines of text showing the webpage to go to.
Try downloading again, or try opening it with a basic text program that comes with your computer.

isaac, after extracting the .zip, right-click and copy the readme.txt to a familiar location like Downloads or Documents

Hold Windows key and press R

type 'notepad', press enter

In Notepad, go File -> Open, browse to where you copied or extracted the readme.txt

We are experiencing difficulties with yahoo blocking, rejecting or delaying
our letters for no obvious reason.
We are aware of the problem and our admins are trying to solve it.

Unfortunately the only workaround so far is to use another email provider.
We never have any problems with Gmail users.

Thank you for the Christmas gifts. However, like Thanos asked,
I have several of these programs, from previous GAOTD .
Some are lifetime, some are Pro versions. I do not want to install ANY that will remove my Lifetime or Pro versions.
Therefore, the duration limits of each SW is very important, BEFORE downloading.
Having to download each of the 21 SW, unzipping, and finding out the duration is a Kludge and BIG hassle.
If AOMEI and GAOTD are in the Christmas spirit, please make it easy to know this information BEFORE downloading. Please include in the Program Description.
