I just deleted my account which I set up after downloading the link on GOTD last month.
I just had an email from TagOn that they are deleting accounts that are not used, up until now I never used my account since created. I wasn't happy when I read the email which was sent earlier today 1-8-2019 as it appeared to be far too aggressive & arrogant.
Whilst I was looking to the inside of the account I recently created I noticed the real prices after GOTD trial. I wasn't impressed at all. So I decided to delete the account & have no further links with this company.
I won't advise anyone to download & use this web-based software as it's not for software collectors, users or new developers who are usually regulars of GOTD.

I think people are not understanding how powerful this is. If you don't have a business or a website, perhaps this isn't for you. But if you do have a business or website, this is VERY useful. Here's on example. Suppose you want to post a link somewhere to a news article. You can encode a TagOn link to redirect to that news article, while at the same time adding a Facebook pixel for retargeting purposes. So people who respond to a particular link (which qualifies them as a potential customer) can be sent ads via FB later. There are many, many possibilities here. If you don't understand anything I have said here, this is not for you. However, a shrewd marketer will find this VERY appealing.

Dave, I think this could have been useful to discover the exact URL's this service uses for facebook spying "pixel" formally known as web beacons so they can be added to anti-tracking block lists as most people that are aware of facebook and other internet behemoths abuse of cross site tracking would not agree to it especially if they did not even have facebook accounts but facebook is still tracking us by unique user id codes... They do not ask consent since we are not members but continue to spy on our browsing activity and store our private data for their statistics and other commercial uses.

This is a product I wouldn't even try because the pricing of this product is a little nuts - I would have to pay 2x as much for a monthly subscription to a link-generating tool than I pay for the hosting of all of my websites.
And when you start talking multiple websites and links then the pricing is really crazy.
I also fail to see how you would use this product for personal use only - and after 6 months you'd have to remember to take down all the links and republish the site...
TagOn - it doesn't matter if you have a good product if you simply price yourself out of the market from the get go.

Someone, - I was just thinking exactly the same thing.... I spend all that time setting it up and in 6 months (or less if it turns out to be useless) I have to rescind everything. As you also say the pricing is ridiculous.

I agree, this product is useless for most of us on GAOTD. But that's because we're the wrong target audience. TagOn clearly is meant for businesses which are looking for another way to connect with customers and to market themselves. If it fits that niche, it may well be worth the price; a single sale could pay for the yearly subscription.

this is a tool to grow income of your business. for a reasonable $17/mo you can test if it works and earns more than it costs.

George, Are you new to giveawayoftheday.com? like first visit and posting because you have some connection with the vendor? As standard giveaway of the day terms state "Strictly personal usage" Therefore one is not supposed to be using thie giveaway for "business" use!
This vendor has NOT yet posted that "commercial use of the giveaway offer is permitted" so your last sentence is outragous and wrong too since one can buy a fully hosted commercial multi-domain service for less than this highly restricted bolt on additional service. If you think it is sensible business practice to contract out at silly prices a thrid party service which could be instead coded internally and thus maintain data integrity as well as service continuity maybe you should not be in business assuming you are in fact "in business" other than maybe a reseller or affiliate for this vendor?

George, the Business license is NOT 17$ / month it's 197$ / Month at that price one can lease a dedicatd server and host as many domains and serve as many clicks as one wants instead of a measly 500,000 clicks per month... they should offer unlimited clicks per month at far less than that price if. This type of service also raises questions about what is it doing with the tracking information the service produces on all the click throughs from all it customers, paid and free. Would using such a 3rd part company present data protection complications due to the information that must be shared with this "service provider" with every click through. Would the customer have to include notification about the information and tracking data shared with this 3rd party company and provide a way to opt out of that tracking by providing a clean unscripted linking service that users can use if they opt out of this cross site scripted service data sharing? And currently their home page apears to be having reliability issues with the giveaway traffic and they are not even hosting their own video but embedding a toutube hosted video... I cannot trust this service is going to handle commercial traffic reliably if they cannot cope with a few thousand giveaway visitors and have to host their video on a free video hosting site!
I'd be more inclned to have giveawayoftheday.com manage hosting of the service... they have far more experience with moderate daily traffic and hosting files!
In additon I took a look at their demos and to be honest if I visited any website using their toys I would get so annoyed at the complete waste of time and the distraction of the interstitial popups distracting me from the task I am engaged in... I would get annoyed with the site and find the information I needed elsewhere.

Ellis, Efficiency is also takes into account costs and at these costs they should be hosting the customers website and funding the domain registration fees too on top of the obscure service they do provide to be efficient!
