Sticky Password is the award-winning password manager and form-filler that remembers your passwords and enters them automatically whenever and wherever you need them - on your desktop, smartphone or tablet. Keep all your passwords in one secure location encrypted by AES-256. Your Master Password will be your key that unlocks your password storage - only you will know what it is! Sticky Password technology has been trusted by millions of people around the world for over 20 years!

In addition to Windows, Sticky Password is also available on Mac, Android and iOS with best-in-class sync options controlled by you. You decide how to synchronize your data across all your computers, smartphones and tablets. If you prefer not to sync via Sticky Password’s secure cloud-based servers, you can utilize local Wi-Fi sync, which syncs your data over your own network and never touches the cloud. And the secure password sharing feature enables you to safely share passwords with family members and colleagues. The added Emergency Access feature allows you to provide access to a trusted friend or family member. You'll have the peace of mind of knowing that your digital legacy is being taken care of.

Please note: the software provides a 1-Year 1 user license (can be activated until November 20, 2022). The program archive includes both Win and Mac versions!

The user with the best improvement idea will be rewarded with Sticky Password lifetime license. Please use IdeaInformer Widget.

This is an incredible app. I've used it for 2 or 3 years and I wouldn't be without it. I have hundreds of passwords that I can never remember and this app also gives you the option to let it generate a strong password for you. I have it on my Android phone as well and sync with the app on my laptop. You can also export a list of your passwords to a text file if you find it necessary to do so.

Been using this for several years now after seeing his here on GAOTD. I liked it so well that I bought the lifetime license. Great value around Black Friday.

Got for Windows & iPhone:

* Local sync problems: first, devices don't see each other. Occasional they do see each other and sync begins but always fails with error 9156.

* Suggestion: if local syncing is occurring successful, please display some sort of progress indicator.

Thank you.

Ray, I use the cloud option to sync instead of the local option as I can't get the local option to work.

Included in my Norton anti-virus protection package is a password manager, so I'm passing on this.

Have you tried Microsoft Edge's built in Password Manager... it's just as good as any other

Reply   |   Comment by wynford  –  11 months ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (-7)

wynford, no it's not, latest upgrades unable to autofill British Gas login anymore and it uses windows credentials for secure storage which can be read by third party password recovery tools as well as windows credentials interface itself.

What happens after a year, do you lose all passwords?

Reply   |   Comment by ARTHUR  –  11 months ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+10)

ARTHUR, You have a choice to buy an annual licence or a lifetime licence which is very good value if you read the details of this offer.
GOTD users can get the program for $29.99, instead of $199.99.

Reply   |   Comment by Hamish  –  11 months ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (-13)

Hamish, that does not really answer the question. It sounds that you are saying that after a year, the program will become nonfunctional and your passwords are locked beyond reach. Or will it still allow you to export your passwords without the autofill capability? Or will it just not allow you to add or change passwords after a year. What functionality remains after the GOTD "trial" period if you choose not to pay?

Reply   |   Comment by Rufus V Smith  –  11 months ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+24)

ARTHUR, I would guess but not sure it would revert to the free version. You can see what you will lose when that happens here........

Rufus V Smith, You be correct, GOTD users can get the program for $29.99, instead of $199.99 LOL

Reply   |   Comment by Mike  –  11 months ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (0)

ARTHUR, you can export your passwords into a text file at any time.

Reply   |   Comment by Fred  –  11 months ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (0)

ARTHUR, You will only lose the ability to synchronize the password database between multiple devices, the password database will only be stored locally. You will not lose access and passwords.

Reply   |   Comment by Martin  –  11 months ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+6)

Arthur,
after 1 year you can either prolong your subscription (based on what Hamish answered below) or your Sticky Password will be switched to Free version with less features.
You WILL still have access to all your data in the Free version.

Reply   |   Comment by Pete - Sticky Password Team  –  11 months ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+7)

Hamish, with all due respect. I don't know your program, never used it, why would I pay NOW for a program that I have never used or tried? Now if you make the discount avail. in 30 days, after I try the software, don't you think that would make better sense?

Reply   |   Comment by Joseph  –  11 months ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (-1)

ARTHUR, It reverts to the Free edition. See https://www.stickypassword.com/free-password-manager-vs-premium for comparison matrix.

Joseph, It's not MY program. I use RoboForm actually. I was merely advising Arthur of the "deal" to extend the FULL program after a year. If only people would READ the details attached to the offer instead of asking daft questions. Why don't they visit the website and find out for themselves.

Reply   |   Comment by Hamish  –  11 months ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (0)

Rufus V Smith, Maybe Arthur would be best advised to READ the details instead of resorting to asking silly questions. Everyone else seems to have got the drift

agree with USAF Phantom - my main reason is the feature afaik to be the only password manager that allows to sync your passwords by local WiFi between all of your devices inluding Windows, Mac, iOS + iPadOS.
Fast response by their tech support who incorporated fix in rare case my automated login did not work (QNAP NAS OS). Frequent updates - my clear pick on password managers.

I use to swear by LastPass, but tried Sticky Password about 2 years ago and never went back. Very easy to use and safe. This is the only password manager I use.

Reply   |   Comment by USAF Phantom  –  11 months ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (-5)

USAF Phantom,

Perhaps you could explain WHY it is better than LastPass (Which I have been using for many years after coming away from Sticky Password)

Reply   |   Comment by Terry I.  –  11 months ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+21)

USAF Phantom, have you stuck with Sticky Password Free or Premium? and paid yearly or paid $199 up front for lifetime usage of premium? Your comment is not very useful if you won't say what edition and payment options you felt were better than LastPass let alone saying why you feel it's better than LastPass?

TK,
Sorry, I don't usually respond to these offers, but yes, I have stuck with Sticky Password and paid the $29.95 lifetime that was also shown offered by this website. My whole family uses it. I don't think anyone pays the $199 price. I have nothing but good things to say about this program. Lastpass works well also, but they charge every year and also charge extra for use on my smartphone, whereas the Sticky Password program does not charge extra. Goodluck!

Reply   |   Comment by USAF Phantom  –  11 months ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (0)

USAF Phantom, The $29.95 is only one user. I have read that you need a separate license for each user, unless of course you are using one account for everyone's password.

Reply   |   Comment by Beho  –  11 months ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (0)

Beho, Yes, we only use one account for all 4 people in the family that use this program. Again, I only paid $29.95 for lifetime use.
Hope that helps.
