Photo Background Remover helps to clear digital shots from unwanted background in batch. Manual removal is performed with the aim of two markers: a red marker is used to define the background area that will be removed, while green marker selects the area that will stay untouched. Automatic background removal doesn’t require any manual adjustments, the program will clear an image by itself. The program also features watermark protection.

Because you're in a different time zone, I've always had 3-4 hours past midnight to download and install your software. Now, at just a few minutes past midnight, Easter time, you're telling me:

"SoftOrbits Background Remover 7.0 was available as a giveaway on October 28, 2021!"

What's going on?

Keep in mind that I am not very familiar with photo editing. My first attempt hit snags. Most troubles were with the tool to remove background. When it didn't do a decent job, I used the big - big is the key word - round dot to show what to remove. It left a lot behind, so I tried getting precise with it. Unfortunately that is not possible. Additional tools would help idiots like me do a better job.

I think this might work quite well for a very clear, sharp picture with a very definite, contrasting background. That isn't what I have in the pics I want to edit. I will keep the app for a while to see if I can do better. Thanks to SoftOrbits for letting me try it.

easy to use, but definitely not one of the best ones out there. Really need to zoom in to get the finer points cut, but it's not too much of a pain. Good for simple projects

I edited the registry to prevent updates:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\softorbits\PhotoBackgrondRemover]
"disableUpdates"=dword:00000000

Using the examples on their website shows a thin black line around the cut out subject. It may work to remove the background, but not for a believable image.

Hott2, You won't know that until you have actually tried it yourself. The line may be there only to emphasize the cut out portion.
