Finally, a very simple-to-use yet functional application manager for Windows XP-10 performs full maintenance of programs installed on the computer.

With Soft Organizer you can install new applications and track their complete activity. This allows you to completely uninstall those applications later, including any traces they may have left on the computer. If some program wasn't tracked during installing and now needs to be removed, this tool can perform a thorough search for all traces in the system and remove all residues.

In case an update is available for a program, and that program can't update automatically, Soft Organizer notifies you about the available update.

When you review the list of installed programs and discover some unknown application, you can learn more details about it by switching to the description of that application (not available for all apps).

Thanks to the ranking system built into Soft Organizer, you can reveal low-quality, badly developed, or even dangerous applications. The rating shows the percentage of users who uninstalled a program after a short time. The higher the uninstall percentage in the list, the more suspicious the application looks.

Here are some important features of Soft Organizer:

  • 1) Easy and accessible interface, not overloaded with excessive elements and not puzzling to a user. Every detail is maximally simplified for ease of understanding.
  • 2) Contains all necessary options for installing, uninstalling, and updating programs.
  • 3)Though simple to use, experienced users can find the program very useful too, since advanced options are available, though not in the foreground. This makes usual installing and uninstalling procedures easier, yet provides full-featured functionality.

System Requirements:

Windows XP/ Vista/ 7/ 8/ 10 (32-bit and 64-bit); RAM: from 256 Mb; Disk space: 50 Mb; Administrator rights

Hello,

Sorry for this problem with the activation. Looks like there is the security module failure. We try to reproduce the problem now.

To all people who have activation problems. Please provide your antivirus/security/sandbox/etc software, installed Windows version (32 or 64?), default language, and regional settings.

Also you can try to download the program from the official website and activate it by the following key:

BC4CXH-PS5KGM-8QJU26-T7DXPF-UE8RDR-GQ8NCB

We also would appreciate if you send at support@chemtable.com your installed programs list (you can create it via Soft Organizer: Settings and Commands -> Export the Applications List).

Thanks, Chemtable Software Team

IrvSp, "license expiration" only this means that the free updates will not be available. But the version of the program from this site can be used without any limitations as long as you desire.

Soft Organizer is one of the most useful programs that I have downloaded from GOTD over the years. I use it to track installations so that I can see what registry settings have been changed. For this it is excellent. I have not used the other functions so cannot comment on them.
I am a bit concerned by the problems people have had with registration. That is a bit disappointing. I feel that GOTD should work with developers to create one reliable method of registering which they all agree to use.
Since my current version (5.01) is working well for me, I will not take a risk and install this 5.03 version over the top.
I recommend this software to you.

I followed the directions-- downloaded from the official website, copy and paste the magic Commander Keen secret code, and it accepted the code. It's registered for 2 pcs, with 189 days to update. That should be enough to let me know if I want to keep it or not.

I also have Advanced Uninstaller PRO, although I don't know if it's the latest version, I'll check later. I don't recall it having the feature of checking for installed program updates. If I uninstall a program using Geek Uninstaller (which, obviously I also have), Advanced Uninstaller will still do an automatic check for leftover bits and pieces without me asking to to do that. It rarely finds any, but I like that it checks.

So, here are three potential uninstallers to try. I know that last two do a decent job, we'll see how today's offer compares.

Oh, yes. There is also a simple program that will keep you from accidentally locking your Caps Lock key, it's called CapsUnlock. If you hit "Caps Lock" it turns it off immediately. It can be overridden, I think by hitting Caps Lock twice quickly. I am not sure if that's the correct override, I rarely have a need to type in ALL CAPS. I got this one from a recommendation from http://techsupportalert.com/. Just thought it might be worth mentioning.

Hello all. :-)
Thanks for your offering, Anton Maksimov.

Finally the license key works!
Can I suggest to postpone of 5-7 hours the giveaway period for this software, given the activation problems?

The program installed correctly on windows 10 x64 (home/standard).
I'm using windows 10 antivirus and firewall.
When there were problems with the license key, I tried also without the firewall.
The program is well done, compliments.
I can still suggest something, by the way:
- In the about window, the shown version is 1.0.0.0, instead of 5.03 (or 5.0.3.xxx)
- I can't understand why I can read/write comments on some programs and why I can't on some other ones. It should be possible to do this for all the programs
- I can't understand how and when SoftOrganizerAgent.exe can be activated. I can't see it as a service in windows services and I can't see it in windows task manager. In your website the FAQs are limited to the subscription to the program
- the rainbow-like picture in the bottom-left corner interferes with the left-menu, when the interface is in its minimal view, and the remaining menus are not visible: it.tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2ccxb39&s=9
- my application list (click on slow download): speedyshare.com/PBCcD/Applications.zip

Hope this helps!

What a waste of time !! Version installed incorrect then after taken the good expected one, pb of license, the license is accepted but once done, a message indicates that the free version has expired and must renew the license !! Why it hadn't been checked before publishing !!
So radical and definitive elimination !!

Installing software can be nasty, having all sorts of side effects, & it can get extremely complicated. Something you often run into working with video like I do from time to time, is that installing software can replace the files you use now to do a certain task. When that happens you can't remove that software entirely, or else you wouldn't be able to do those tasks any longer. Another example would be security software, which often embeds itself in Windows as deeply as possible so that malware can't turn it off.

Soft Organizer, like some uninstall apps, can monitor a software installation, but anything that might cause trouble is avoided. What might cause trouble of course is sometimes hard to say, so they error far to the side of caution. That's not necessarily a problem, but it isn't a full accounting like many, including the Soft Organizer web site, might hint or claim.

If you want to know what the effects are of installing &/or running an app, you take a snapshot before & after, comparing the two. If you want to know more about what it's doing while it's running then look at debuggers etc., though generally the result of comparing snapshots is more practical for more people. You *ideally* don't want much software installed if you go the snapshot route -- if installing an app installs a file that's already present you'll never know about it -- but as not having software tends to make your Windows system useless, that isn't practical unless you perform those snapshots in a VM without much if any software installed, making that VM useful for just such testing, but likely little else.

Note that software like Regshot only creates & compares snapshots, so there are no consequences -- those only come if you start removing the stuff that was recorded -- so unlike software like Soft Organizer, it has no problem at all showing you everything. When you use Regshot it's up to you to save the results, & if you use them to help you remove whatever software, it's up to you to backup as necessary, and as or if necessary, research to make sure just what you can safely get rid of. Depending on the software install you monitored, using the results of those Regshot records or logs can result in a Much More complete uninstall, but at greater risk of problems afterward should you remove something you shouldn't.

At last an install that works, well almost, could not get it to paste correctly and had to do it manually.
This was accomplished using the setup from the developer's website and the code presented on this page recently.

Use Full Uninstall on my XP machine and today's download on my Windows 7 machine; much prefer the way the former works even though they are both by the same company.

Guess I download and try 80% of the giveaways on this site and have done for more than five years on the same XP install.
Believe that the reason that this is possible is because I use Full Uninstall to add and remove the programs.

If you don't use Time Freeze or similar then this type of program is a good bet, most certainly helped me.

Soft organizer is not as powerful as Reg Organizer, it leaves too many registry junk info, but Reg Organizer removes 99.99% of the uninstalled software.
Just for your record if you intend to keep this software today.

Mastin,

"Soft organizer is not as powerful as Reg Organizer"

Different functions... Soft Organizer is designed to record what happens when you install an app -- Reg Organizer OTOH looks for hard coded tweaks & registry orphans.

Excellent software and maybe the best uninstaller I ever tried. Some of my friend's who are computer geek's advised me to try it,so I grab Soft Organizer here on GOTD,some older version offered (as I can recall) about 2 years ago.I remember that even Karl (person who actually tested every software offered, and someone who was writing reviews about software, not some ''one sentence'' nonsense etc.) was pleasantly surprised with Soft Organizer.Simple, understandable GI.You can install new program by opening SO,or just drag exe file to SO icon. You can trace all changes made by installing new software, even if installation is not traced (installed) with SO,You can see traces of any program on your machine. After opening SO there is a list of all applications on you machine, together with developers name, date of installation, and very useful Uninstalled By info-the percentage of users who removed the application shortly after installation, which is basically like a review of quality for every application and it is pretty accurate. For every application You have,it's easy to check all traces.Find the application on the list(if You have tons of programs there is search field-upper right),click on it,and (as I wrote) even if app isn't traced You can see the number of Registry and Disk items traces.Right of those numbers click on View all traces to open new window with tree organized Registry and File system traces. If an update is detected for some application and Soft Organizer can provide a verified download link for the update, the application will be highlighted in the list with a checkmark.I compared SO with few other uninstallers and when You uninstall something with SO,there are not junk left behind(particularly if installation were traced, even if it is not.SO perform search for leftovers, and almost always manage to find it). There is also the Undoing changes Center with list of changes to the system made by SO,which you can undo if necessary.I have full version with free updates (for 2 computers) and support. Support is excellent.I had one issue(caused by Toolwiz Timefreeze),and they helped me to solve it.You don't need to wait longer than few hours for replay, and they are willing to help You and even to teach You some things, which are not related with their product.Luckily I already have SO,because lately there are some strange issues (mostly with licenses) here on GOTD.

Worked for me; many thanks Atalay!

I've not used this type of software before. Does it require that you install a program thru it in order to uninstall it later, or can you uninstall any program regardless of whether it was installed before this program was loaded or not?

Reply   |   Comment by Bebop  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+1)

Bebop, uninstallers are a very known category of software. I use Revo Uninstaller Pro, a payed program that worth every penny. They also have a free version. To be traced, program MUST be installed using the uninstaller install function. In my case, I right click on the program I want to install and choose "Install With the Unninstaller" from the drop down menu. After installation is completed, I SAVE the install information that appears on the top of the screen. For the operation to be authomatic, the unnistaller would have to be running all the time so it could detect any attempt of installing, and I already have TOO many programs running at the same time, so I prefer this way. Any way, only 3 clicks more, not a big deal. How it works? Not sure if the program takes a picture of your system before and after the installation and records all changes made so they can all be undone later or if it records every change made on the fly. Believe me and at the experts : Windows uninstall doesn't come even close in uninstalling every trace of an installed program. All it does is to run the uninstall function of each program and these never trace what they install in the first place. And partial uninstals realy, realy hurt your system. So, if you do not want to pay for an uninstaller, try todays GAOTD and you wont be sorry.

Reply   |   Comment by Mario  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+1)

Bebop, ....In answer to your question, you don't actually install "thru" this application.....the way this works is, before you start installing any new software you open this application and start the tracing mode, then install your new software as normal, after the new software is fully installed, you need to go ahead and actually open or start the new software just for a few moments because some software don't fully "hook in" to the Windows registry with all of it's parameters until it's started the first time....ok, after you have started the new software briefly, you can shut it down, then go back to this application and stop the tracing process....at that time it will scan the registry for any changes the new software made...and then when you uninstall the new software, you open this application and find it on the list and click uninstall and this will undo the changes to the registry as well as fully uninstall the new software and clean up any leftovers it finds......also....yes, you can use this to uninstall software that it did not trace as long as that software shows up in the list of installed software displayed by this application....however, it will not be as thorough of a uninstall as it would be if it had been traced........I have been using a version of this for years and I recommend it very much.

Downloaded, Installed and Activated with no problems on my Win10x64 machine using Edge as my browser. Just a fast look see at this so far but it seems like a nice little program. Easy to read sections/buttons to do much more than just uninstalling. Have tried the software updater module and it works just fine, linking me straight to Videolan for a VLC player update. Quickly too I may add. Another "extra" I really like is the uninstall percentage per installation of each application. Nothing earth shattering but kind of neat to know. Overall, I can't find anything really "bad" about this and a lot to like so I'll be keeping it for a while. Thank you GOTD and Chem Table Software for this useful little piece of software.

Used Full Uninstall for years and I believe that it is an earlier version of today's program.

As well as uninstalling find it useful to trace exactly what has been installed and where, useful for those programs sneak stuff everywhere.

Worth installing in my opinion if it will register as a full version.

This software is a good uninstaller but not the best. In my opinion Advanced Uninstaller PRO 11 is the best software in this category and that is free also.

Thanks Joji, impressed with your suggestion.....it has heaps of other functions too besides uninstall management. A little gem that I've not seen before, and I like the price :)

Dear Chem Table, I do not use any active anti virus programs, though I do not know why you care.

Your

BC4CXH-PS5KGM-8QJU26-T7DXPF-UE8RDR-GQ8NCB

only makes the program work without any updates.

Someone else's offering here of

BC6EXM-PS5KGM-MC9SWC-Q9HRGF-4LT3QG-ZUXV5S

registers fine.
