Bill, there is this little thing that you downloaded called a "read me" text file. You are supposed to...well, read it.

Creating an account couldn't be easier or faster. No software to download. Incredible selection of free templates, and as someone pointed out earlier, once you've used 10, more are inexpensive. WAY worth it considering the time you'd save versus creating them yourself. I can see zero reason for anyone giving this a down-vote. Sure, some people will have no use for these, but that is a reflection on their needs, not on the offer or the quality of the product. If you don't need it, just say "thanks but no thanks, and move along. For people who create slide presentations, this should be a 100% positive.

Are there certain ones you have to pick, or can you choose any 10 of the 10,000 you'd like? There's a download button under all of them, including the ones under "free templates", but, at least for me, on Chrome, Vista version, clicking on it doesn't do anything?

Nice giveaway, even 10 of 10k would be ok for me (just hard to choose). But they ask for my credit card information even for this free gift - I have a bit of problem with it...

Hi Henry, just wanted to let you know that your comment nearly deterred me from grabbing this giveaway. Once you put in the discount code, you no longer have to input your credit card details.

The page refreshes to remove the request and replaces it with a simple Register button.

You DO NOT have to give you CC details.

(not seeing my previous answer: thanks for noticing!)...
I looked into the offer: to my surprise there are only one-slide templates (so 10k is a reasonable number of them), I tried one (not really needing it now, just for curiosity): great graphics, no special effects. I think I can make use of them, although I prefer more minimalistic style. For guys intensively using "business" ppt´s this is a great source - even is you have to pay for the additional templates, 0.50/piece is worth for saving quite a lot of time...

Maybe clarify in the bullet points above that the giveaway includes 10 but that there are thousands available for upgrades!

You get ten. But these are ten really nice templates! This is worth a whole lot more than the usual junk you get for free.

The offer page says that the program is available for $10, but that would get you 20 slides and the giveaway is only for 10 slides which is the $6.99 program. It looks like there is no time limit on when you have to use them. Nice little giveaway. Thanks!

Max, I was wondering about that. Generally speaking, with GOTD you typically have to download and install and activate the day of the offer. I was wondering if just signing up for today's offer was sufficient and we could wait until perhaps next week to actually begin downloading the ten free templates.
