After installing, even when NOT connecting through the VPN, my usual 75MPS download speed dropped to 6.8. I tried everything I could think of, or find on the internet, but nothing would get my connection speed back up. It required totally uninstalling the program to get my 75M connection speed back.
I do not need a VPN badly enough to lose 90% of my connection speed even when not using it

After installing and running, it showed it was connected - did a test on ipleak.net and found it was leaking my IP and location.

For those new users having an issue in getting the 6-month service extension: first, follow the instructions in the Giveawayoftheday/Seed4.Me download readme file, to sign up and register with Seed4.Me and get the 1-year free subscription; then, follow the readme instructions *again* but this time for *already-registered* users, using the readme file provided link to get a key/promo. code which will be emailed to you, which you then (as stated in the further readme file instructions) apply at the Seed4.Me website under your previously-established account, using the "Extend Access" and then "Voucher or Prepaid Card" options (the latter is where you apply the new promo. code that was emailed to you as a previously-registered user). Managed to finally get the full 18 months subscription. To my surprise, it's not bad at all. Download speed is very good. Upload speed not so good. Have only used 2 different locations at this stage. One server was Singapore, but what's my IP shows me in Saudi Arabia ! Other I tried was Australia and what's my IP got that right. At this stage, I will keep it for now.

Got the free year + successfully received free 6mo voucher.
Only thing weird is the receipt for spending 20$ in the email when I got it for free.

Damn, another non-accessible software. I got one and a half years for free with a bit of doing though. When the app opens, My screen reader shows a blank screen.

I jumped thru all of your hoops and have an 18 month subscription. When I start the VPN, I get "Access Expired". How do I get your VPN to work?

Downloaded, installed and activated 1 year license without a problem.

The VPN connects with no problems and my IP address was changed to a server in California. I am in Guatemala.

My connection became extremely crippled though. From 30 megs download it went down to 10 megs down and 8 meg upload speed went down to 0.8 megs. Tried different servers but the connection speed did not even come close to what it usually is.

Perhaps this is due to my geographical location.

My suggestion to the developers is to speed up their servers.

Uninstalled the app. It´s of no use to me.

From comments I read, my advice would be "steer clear" .

MMPE (Microsoft Point to Point Encryptio) is 128bit encryption at best, which is advertised as 'strong'. It is not considered to be "military grade" at all. Neither is it secure: it uses the RC4 cipher which has numerous vulnerabilities.

If you want "military" grade (aka Government grade) then choose a VPN provider that uses ECHDE ciphers, with a AES256bit key.

It works pretty well from initial use.

But I have discovered a really annoying problem in Windows.

If I activate the kill switch function then after a reboot I am unable to connect to the internet at all.

I have to load up Seed4.Me and then untick the kill switch option.

It makes no sense to have to do this after a reboot when there is no setting enabled that has the VPN start up automatically.

I'd like to say that when I was a couple of years ago on the Russian-speaking side of giveawayoftheday, made a post, and I was giving 1 "like" (under VPN program) for myself under my own
comment (it was not approved by admin at that moment).
But the admin of the giveawayoftheday noticed that I was switching the special VPN-program, that they switched on their anti-VPN-utility which was blocking using by me a VPN -program on this website. I couldn't use any VPN, a long time. After I asked their forgiving, they unblock my possibility of using VPN and I do not it again, because I know they can punish for such doing. It became to me a good lesson for life.

So, I'd like only to say that the IT-technologies do not "stay at one place, but move forward very fast".
