LightEditor Team, The VIP code was redeemed without a problem. However, the Time Duration Activation code gives the error "Failed to redeem code". I copy/pasted the code so I didn't type it in wrongly.

I was able to install the software, create an account, redeem code for VIP but when I tried to redeem code for Time Duration, I get an error "Failed redeem." Please advise.

To help others
You need to create an account, and you will have to paste Code 1
Anybody that has an account THEN has to purchase number of hours usage for any one process. That is where we need to enter code 2 (good luck with that).
The program that we install just gives a way to run those features (instead of running them from your browser (I reckon).
I had a 'chat' on their web site, and they will get back to me in a day or two, with my Code 2 redeem problem

I am having trouble with Code 2 paste in your instructions. I cannot find the box to paste the code.
Here are your instructions -
II. Redeem Codes:

- Click "My Account" and then "Redeem code".
- Code 1 (VIP Account Activation): *****************
- Paste this code into the box and click "Redeem".
- Refresh your account to activate VIP features.
- Note: This code grants you VIP account status for one year.

- Code 2 (Time Duration Activation): *****************
- Paste this code into the same box and click "Redeem".
- Refresh your account to activate the time duration feature.
- Note: This code adds 10 hours to your account duration.

I am having trouble with activating the account. I was able to complete the first step, Code 1 (VIP Account Activation), using the given serial number, no problem.

But I am unable to do Code 2: "Code 2 (Time Duration Activation), with given serial number. Every time I try this step I get an error: "Failed to redeem." I've repeatedly refreshed the account, logged out, cleared my browser history, etc etc logged back in & tried again, but still get the same error.

Please advise as I'm thrilled by the possibilities of this program.

Per the registration instructions, I went to create a new account & found it already in use. It turns out that I had to log in with the information for my aPowerSoft account, so it appears that RecCloud is a subsidiary of theirs.

Next, I easily found the page to redeem the first code. [ https ://reccloud.com/account?subroute=exchange ] and did so, activating the 1 yr of VIP status which I could immediately see. The instructions then state: "Refresh your account to activate VIP features." It doesn't say how to refresh the account, so I refreshed the page and nothing seemed to change.

The next instruction is to enter "Code 2 (Time Duration Activation)", which is "to activate the time duration feature." It's not explained what that means other than stating it "adds 10 hours to your account duration."

Does that mean the VIP status is good for 365 days and 10 hours?
Does that mean that a VIP account gets 10 hours of AI tool use per month, or for the next year?
Does that mean that videos now can be up to 10 hours long, but they're limited to a shorter length without Code 2?

Who knows?

I can say that when I tried activating Code 2, numerous times, all that would happen is a peach colored bar drops down from top for a few seconds with the message, "Failed To Redeem".

Without understanding what Code 2 is unlocking, and without knowing if I have failed to do something in order to correctly "refresh my account", I don't know what I'm missing by not successfully redeeming Code 2.

Can someone from RecCloud please let me know what I need to do in order to successfully redeem Code 2? I'm certain I cannot be the only one in this predicament.

Thank you for your offer today. I've not tried any AI tools previously and am interested in what an AI video editor can do.

I have also logged out and logged back in to see if that would "refresh the account", then tried to apply Code 2. Same result: "Failed to redeem". Putting this here so anyone who might suggest that would know I already tried.

OK, from the comment by Marilyn with the aPowerSoft / RecCloud team: "...the other code is used to activate the time duration for the AI tools." So that account unlocks 10 hours of AI tool time. Is that:
- 10 hours of raw (source) footage
- 10 hours of finished product (AI edited video)
- 10 hours of processing time
- something else?

What happens with the VIP account status once the 10 hours of AI tool time is gone? Since the VIP account is normally $5.75/mo, is there anything you can do once those 10 hours (however they are measured) are used up? Is the entire product AI or are there non-AI things you can do with the account?

Detenova did a 26 minute test of speech to text with good results. If that was done by AI and the 10 hours are measured in the real play time of the audio, not the actual time it might take to process a 26 minute mp3, does that mean there are 9:34 minutes of AI time left for the month or for the year?

Really curious to know how this works.

And I have yet to see a message telling me I've successfully unlocked those 10 hours with code 2.

I have installed the program, followed the readme instructions. I redeemed the VIP redemption code, but when I try to redeem the time duration activation, I get 'Failed to redeem'.

What might be going on?
