After applying moderate settings, microsoft teams was not working and also a remote desktop server. Any idea how this happened?

SoftOrbits is well know, at least by me.
As a graphics enthusiast, from time to time I give one of the graphics-editing solutions from this vendor a new chance and test them in depth. Over the years it has been a long, long winding way for them to make more stable programs that can be finally used with the user-interface (omg...omg...). But it is one thing to manipulate bitmap graphics and watch stuck programs and random program exits and another thing to dig deep into operating system hidden features and change them. There is a high risk that something goes wrong and your Windows afterwards behaves in a way you do not want it, and you then do not have any idea how you can get it back to a previous "normal" state.
From my foregoing (under-intermediate) experiences with products from this vendor I will give this product no chance to do anything system relevant, I simply distrust the artistic qualification of the programmers behind all those intermediate intransparent products. I do not believe in wonders, do you? POINT.
Btw. what happens after the 6 months? (to be fair it must be said, it seems you can test every product of SoftOrbit for 10days unrestricted with full functionality ("Unregistered version - 10 trial days remain").

I downloaded it for Windows 10 as it says it works for Windows 10 too, I am disappointed that the software does not explain you what each setting is for, I don´t want to disable something by mistake that stops something I use from working. Disabling some of the settings can be deducted what they do but others you have no clue what they are for.

That's about the only way to do it since that's where all the settings & controls are. Pro, EDU, & Enterprise versions of Windows allow setting policies, which control quite a bit, but at the end of the day they just wind up as registry entries or modifications anyway. If you wanted to see what changes, you can use something like Regshot when you make a change, which takes before & after snapshots of the registry & compares them, so you could see just what happened.
