I recently purchased Ashampoo Uninstaller v12, full paid version. I have a brand new computer and wanted to make sure as I installed things I could keep it clean. I accidently installed an older version of a program I frequently use, then installed the current version. Ashampoo did NOT keep track of the registry changes, and I had to manually REGEDIT to get a clean install. This is exactly what I wanted to avoid, shelling out good money for this thing.
The Good: They offered me a full refund. I think I'd really rather a software developer taking an interest in why their program failed, and fixing it in the next version. Nope. Refund offered.
Let's say you install a program called Wooflehex. (fake name, just an example) Ashampoo Uninstaller will track the entire install. Now, you run Wooflehex. If the developers of Wooflehex now go out and modify your Windows Registry, Ashampoo will NOT track changes to the registry. Now if you uninstall Wooflehex, or whatever, Ashampoo will NOT be able to help you get those keys backed out of the registry.
So, if you're a nasty developer looking for a work-around, have your code wait to do nasty things until AFTER the installation, then go crazy making bad things happen. Ashampoo will allow the havoc.
They were very quick to respond and address my question, and were quick to offer the refund. I really wish they'd just make the program better.

Windows 10, 64 bit. Downloaded, got zip file, but will not extract. Extract, Secure extract, it does nothing. Can anyone explain how to get it to extract. btw-- limited PC experience.

How well does it work on Installed items before UnInstaller 10 is Installed.
Does it only do the Uninstalle that is with the software or is it fully Uninstalled as UnInstaller 10 claims for programs Installed with/after UnInstaller 10

Nice to have the option to change the colour scheme of the interface, unfortunately that doesn't change the dark grey text on an almost black background in the application menu (left of main window) which can make it difficult to read.

I've been using this for a couple of years, it's very good. Automatically detects when software installs or updates. Deletes most of the crap left over when uninstalling.
Also useful for clearing caches, etc. from browsers and cleaning up disc space.

10/10 for this offering.
It is worth the upgrade from V 9 if only for the visual change but there are a few more functions closer to the latest version.
I couldn't fined the latest changlog to list them but there are a good number of improvements.
I needed to turn AVAST off tho.
