First of all: Happy New Year! - Now just a little question: I have installed this program some days ago from here. Is this version of today the exactly same one or do I have to reinstall it? It´s a great offer to have good programs back. So, please if somebody of you know what to do, please let me know. I only want to be sure if this version of today is better than the other one. :) Thanks in advance and a big hug to the Giveawayoftheday team for your great work you do!

Many thanks for this... Happy New Year To All..
Installed on Windows 7 Premuim 32 ed just fine and works great.
With regard to the 15 day trial sign showing, in the white box... you will notice just at the end to the right, there is an "X" to close this message.. how simple :P ...
If only all software were created with simplicity with beginners in mind, though some not so.

Installed fine on Win7 Home Premium 64-bit. After entering the License Key, the software itself still said I had the 15 day trial, but after closing and reopening, it seems to have updated, hopefully.
I've been designing my own Christmas cards for quite a few years now, 12 to be exact, using LivePix 2.0, which has been obsolete for what seems to be like forever. The CD I have is for Win95 & Win98, yet still works on Win7. I prefer holiday templates where I can import my own pics into a predesigned shape. Since LivePix is old and no new templates have ever been available, 12 years of the same old cards has gotten boring. I downloaded this software and gave it a whirl, and I'm happy to say, it does exactly what I want and has quite a bit more shapes to choose from. It only took me a few minutes to figure out how to crop my photos to fit the chosen frame. Thanks GAOTD & Pearl Mountain for the rerun.

Yes, we had a lot of fun with this when it came out about a week ago. Is this version different somehow? How?
Happy New Year and may God Bless the whole world in 2013 and let there be peace when men allow it!

Hi, Thanks for this re-run (I've missed it at Christmas) and in case this issue had not been addressed yet - The differences between Standard version and Pro can be found here:
http://www.picturecollagesoftware.com/version-differences.html.
My question is: Is this fully licensed GAOTD version of Picture Collage Maker "Christmas Edition" the same as Standard? Downloaded Software states "Standard", so just wondering if it's exactly the same as on Vendor's Homepage, or perhaps few "extra" things were thrown in into this Giveaway as "Christmas Stocking"..?
Secondly, can the Pro version costing only $10 more than Standard (normally at $29.90), but packed with much more features - be obtained as "upgrade" to Standard and with discount??
I would gladly "go Pro", but not for the full price of $39.90 (or so)
Can Anyone shed some information I might have missed from FAQs about "upgrading" to Pro, but specifically concerning GAOTD's "Christmas" Version? Thanks in advance:)
Also - a Very Happy New Year to GAOTD Team and fellow Commentators!

Thanks for the rerun. Got busy and forgot it. What do I do with the Setup.gcd? I ran and activated it the way I normally do and it works fine. (not running the Setup.gcd)

One last freebie trick as this one I was going to send to the dev team as this produces a unusual pleasing effect...
Take any picture that you have find a spot in the picture where the colors vary but not by much crop a 8x8 pixel size save it as a png then add the photo as a background drop to your project this will cause a gradient effect (You can produce the same thing with 2x2 or larger pixels pattern in paint and saving as a desktop background stretched) The possibilities are endless..

I almost forgot here's another suggestion for this software use I had mailed to the dev team at Pearl Mountain in regards to Facebook Covers. Should you want to make your Facebook cover the size to use is 851px x 315px
Just search the net for background generators should you need sometype of backdrop and with the mask feature you can easy make a mashup of your photos.

Here's a quick tip for having more options and fun with this program.
IF you look under masks and right click you'll see that there is a customize folder.. in this folder add any black and white photo (Clipart etc) and you'll end up creating a new mask for the software should you want to merge 2 photo's together just place a copy of photo b inside the mask folder and they will overlap.
Best trick I can suggest for making black and white masks is to download infraview open the photo you would like to convert to black and white and use the Decrease Color Depth to 2 and set it to greyscale.. Also using the same program you can make a 1000x1000 template with black background white text to use as a template also.
Give it a try you'll see how easy it is to do.
P.S: Just make sure you save in png format to avoid artifacts in your photos.
