Project Dogwaffle (PD Howler) is a digital painting program with many pre-included brushes, art styles, paint effects and numerous special FX filters. PD Howler also includes a great number of tools for working on animations and video clips frame-by-frame or with keyframe interpolations. There are particle brushes that generate 3D shrubberies, trees and weeds and there is a set of tools for 3D landscape creation and realistic rendering. PD Howler doesn’t do everything imaginable but it’s a good collection of tools for working with graphic assets of many kinds: images, brushes, animations, and 3-D.

Have been working for many years with this program. Developer is constantly updating and improving it. If you find you like this older version, you'll love the newest 2024 version. (Now includes ability to work with 3d) Lots of features. A FULL Featured drawing program. If you have ANY interest in a painting/drawing program, other than the main Corporate offerings, pick this one up. Even if you do not choose to get the updated current edition, this version is an excellent program to have.
