Comments all seemed good so I decided to try it. It installed easily but the first DVD I wanted to convert, it couldn't read. Very disappointed :(

Where are Ashraf and Giovanni when you need them? There are no good reviews here that are real, so I'll pass. Companies should stop putting up shill comments and votes because it's a real turn-off.

just a request for furture softwear an few weeks to maybe a month ago you GOTD gave a screen recorder that can record while doing a program an it records voice as well.. i have since gotten 2 new computers a PC an a Laptop an now i am working to get some of my goto software back onto my computers an would love for you to have them come around soon

Not necessarily a reflection on the product, but WOT has a "Poor" rating in the "Trustworthy" category for their website.

edit @11:.. Though todays offer is for the "converter", based on the speed of their other product, that's why I passed. I can rip and convert with one program that is WAY WAY faster. So, my negative is based on assumption if anything else.

@Dirk Derkle - This program will not convert .tivo files directly. .tivo files are encrypted .mpg files and the Tipard converter does not know how to decrypt them. There are free tools available to decrypt the .tivo files (Google kmttg) and once you do that you can use this converter to convert the files to mp4 format.

Program installed and registered easily on Win 7 Pro 64 bit. Early testing reveals an easy to use interface and the conversion tests I have performed so far worked well. At this point I can't say that it's better than some free alternatives I've been using, but it certainly doesn't appear to be worse. I don't do a lot of video conversions, but I do just enough to want a tool that's easy to use and this appears to do the job. Thanks GOTD!

I have windows 8 & after I click run, I keep getting this message, Oops... something went wrong. Please click try again button below. I do this , the same message comes up. I have done this repeatly & the same message keeps returning- Fran

Downloaded and unzipped files. Clicked on "Setup.exe" and installer pops up but does nothing. Just sits on the screen . . Activating

Pass. I've been (for the past few days) (backing up) over 100+ Disney movies that my daughter has (she wants to put the files on a portable harddrive and leave the disc's at home while she's away at school). It's one of those "100 years of Disney" movie bundles.

I have collected (thanks to GOTO) several dvd rippers, copiers, converters, etc.. So, what to use? So, I pulled up Tipard DVD Ripper Platinum, Leawo DVD Ripper and Aiseesoft DVD Ripper Platinum (which is not much different the the Blue Ray version). So based on the speed the before mentioned 3 complete their job, I'll stick with Aiseesoft. I could burn/convert the same DVD in 8 minutes for what the others could do in 1hr 40minutes. The movie was 1hr 31minutes long. I ran the same test on another movie. Same results. Then the test came when I played all 3 movies back on my UN55F7100AFXZA Samsung TV. I did not see ANY difference in quality between them. So, needless to say, Leawo and Tipard are not goto (no pun intended) apps for conversions/backing up.

Software this easy is take and put on computer me.i not paid by company and this program great is.you intalls should and be not afraid of all many malware program brings your computer this time.i not paid by company and all other software ever used is not this good.this super program and i not paid by company.install you computer right away and ignore new programs that take computer you over.i not paid by company.

Seems to be a bit slower than Wonderfox Video Converter but has a lot more options like custom output resolution and output aspect ratio which sometimes needs changing if the original video is too stretched or too tall.

I used an older version of Tripad Converter on an old system and it worked great- glad I was able to get this version on my new machine- it is worth the download even if you have other video converters.

Output quality is as good as any I have seen. No trouble with the install (Windows 8.1 64bit) or registration.

I have tried this software and compared it with the other software I ever used. From my personal experience, this one is much better than the one I ever used. First, it can add many videos. I have many MXF videos of my family shot with my Canon camcorder. I can only use special MXF software to convert it to my tablet. Now I can use this one. Second, it has CUDA speed accelerate technology and it converts my video very fast.

No installation or registration issues on Windows 8.1 64bit. The register process of this giveaway software is easy Active is always smoothly with embedded name and register code. I will keep it. I will post my test results later.
