A 2nd email address and I got it instantly. I waited all day with my regular email.

8 hours later and still no key. I don't think they really want us to have their software.

Thanks for all the comments. Helps me decide if I should try this one. I've had the same trouble with Leawo giveaway products. Their lifetime registration keys also have a tendency to become unregistered after a while even if you uncheck the update automatically button. Just my two-cents.

Their website isn't allowing me to click on the register and get a key. The "Get It Now" button doesn't work for Tunes Copy, but does work for the "Best Mate" purchase offer.

Now waited an hour. Still NOTHING!!!
And the web site won't let me apply again!

Dudley,
You may want to try a second email address. Some times my Hotmail email address is ignored while my Yahoo email receives the response immediately. It never hurts to have a back up.

Can't get it to work, and I've wasted way too much time on it. There are no files listed in the "add" column, and when I try to drag and drop from windows, it says it can't read the file. I seem to not be able to get any file into it to even try to convert it. Guess I'll uninstall.

Installed fine, got the key right away. Downloaded a free TV show from iTunes. It converted and played with VLC and on my media player.

Don't know how it will work on purchased or rented videos, but it worked with a free one

iTunes was not running when I converted the video.

What form are you talking about? The one for Billing Information?

Does this work with mp3s?

Do you need to have iTunes installed to use this?

I ask because I saw a computer that was kicked to the curb. I took it home foe parts, which included a hard drive. I hooked it up to another computer and found a rather impressive collection of Jazz from iTunes, and I can't play any of them. VLC kicks back "Could not demux ASF stream:
DRM protected streams are not supported.
VLC can't recognize the input's format:" They all have a .wma extension.

Bezukhov, ANY conversion software, including this one, should be able to convert .wma to mp3. Haven't tried it as I don't have any .wma files, but it's not uncommon.

Springy, I've tried others with no luck. What aggravates me is that this is no different than if I found the same music in a discarded box of CDs. Finders keepers, and all that.

Bezukhov, It comes with a free trial to convert mp3's. But it will only convert the first 3 minutes of the song

Bezukhov, I think we're getting off topic now, but I'm just trying to help you, so maybe this will get through the system :)

Just Google "wma to mp3" and you will be presented with online converters that might help you out. I'm sure today's offering would be able to do the job also if you would just try it out. I've used Leawo in the past and it was very good, but I have a different paid one now so I don't need it.

Springy, WMA is a more modern name for Microsofts ASF container format it can contain media encoded with many different codecs as well as can contain DRM which is handled by Microsofts Windows Media Player and not iTunes if the media is DRM protected then just moving the media files to another machine will not also move the DRM authorisation too, and if the media streams inside are encoded using a codec that is not available for versions of windows newer than XP then VLC or any other player or converter including Windows Media Player on Vista and above won't be able to play the media! Also if the Windows Media DRM authorising server that a particular DRM protected WMA file used goes down or is taken offline by the owners perminantly then NO conversion program or player program can convert or play the file.

Bezukhov, WMA are nothing to do with iTunes they are for use with windows media player and require remote license server to play as they are encrypted and cannot be played without decryption. Try playing them in Windows Media Player if the license server they use is still online you may be able to buy your own license to play the music you thought you could "finders keepers" take and use.
