I could see no way to "... convert in batch and save in common formats such as MP3, M4B, M4A, AAC, WAV, FLAC ..."
My goal is to scan my music directory and batch convert anything NOT MO3 into MO3, the way FLACsquisher does ( and does not reconvert if it finds it's already been done! ), but for M4A and so on.
Thought, Leawo, or anyone?

Peter Blaise, It downloads music from Spotify and converts that to your chosen file format. It's not a general purpose converter, hence the name "Spotify Converter".

So, I was asking if anyone else reading here at GOTD knows a good Anything-to-MP3, equivalent to FLACsquisher for FLAC-to-MP3?

So, if I convert my Spotify music to M4A for my iPhone, then later decide I need MP3, I'd have to use some other software to re-convert my Spotify music, not this software.
Is there ANY Leawo product that does what I want, or do I have to use someone else's program?
Again, Like FLACsquisher does for FLAC-to-MP3, I'd like a program that lets me select ANY input file format to ANY output file format, then scan any directory and convert files NOT already converted, and maybe add an appendix if I prefer, such as ___-320.MP3 or ___-128.MP3 so I can make highest quality MP3s AND later also make a suite of smaller MP3s that, say, fit as many as possible on a CD for my car ( auto fit to CD for all music files in a subdirectory would be GREAT! )?

Peter Blaise, actually you were talking about an all-inclusive audio converter that could help you complete you conversion tasks, while this Spotify Converter helps you download and convert Spotify songs to audio files in various formats like MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, FLAC. WMA, OGG, MKA, AC3. To choose desired output audio format, after you load your Spotify songs, on the song list, in each song title, you could see a pencil icon, by clicking which you could choose output format, choose the audio channel and set the output audio bit rate. This Spotify converter is totally different from the tool you mentioned. They are 2 different tools.

It installed just fine but when trying to register it kept telling me "Time out in background data (-100)" I closed it and restarted, running as an administrator. Finally took it and registered the module successfully on about the 15th try.

Figured it out. in windows 10 , go to settings, network and internet, proxy. uncheck all boxes in proxy.

Installed, registered, showed as valid for 367 days. Added Spotify playlist, set conversion rate, started conversion, first song got as far as "Ready to Convert" and 0.0% but never started converting. All other songs in playlist just sat there. Any idea what would be causing the issue? It looked like it should work but just never managed to convert a single song. Cheers!

OK, I was able to get this thing to do a couple songs before it crapped out again. My first attempt got me 2 songs from a playlist, my second attempt got me 6. Before you do anything, get the playlist link you want, launch Leawo, paste the link into the Spotify converter section, set your conversion bit rate, etc. and then close out of the program. Close Spotify also if it's still running.
This is how I got it to work for me:
1) Launch Spotify (I'm using the installed version from Spotify.com, not the Microsoft Store app).
1a) DO NOTHING IN SPOTIFY! Don't play anything, don't touch ANYTHING!
2) Launch Leawo Prof DRM **AS ADMINISTRATOR**.
3) Select Spotify Converter from the list. A dialog box pops up telling you to "Before conversion, please relaunch Spotify". Don't do this, just click OK. The software closed and reopened Spotify for me.
4) Click the CONVERT button. Box tells you to "Please don't operate Spotify........" so, DON'T! Just click OK.
Conversion starts for me after this. It varies how many songs I get converted before it quits. Once it quits, just go through the same process over again. As songs are converted, they are removed from the conversion list, so when you start the process over again, you don't have to worry about duplicates. Good luck, it's VERY tedious and buggy, but does work, sort of...

.. and same for me. My Spotify account works fine but as soon as "Leawo Prof. DRM Spotify Converter 3.1.0" is involved, anything selected just sits there and does nothing other than show 0.0% and "Ready to convert". My OS is Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit

James G: Thanks to FeMaster and all those who weighed in with their experiences - I was finally able to get the program running on my Windows 10 PC. I installed, activated, then uninstalled and reinstalled Prof. Media (no Windows 10 reboot, no need to re-activate program, it showed as activated already upon second install). Then without Prof. Media running, I launched Spotify program and copied the playlist link for the songs I wanted to convert. Then I launched Prof. Media using the "Run as administrator" (right-clicked shortcut to choose) option, started Spotify module, ignored/clicked okay to prompt to re-launch Spotify. Spotify got closed and re-opened automatically - minimized it out of the way. Clicked the "+" to add songs to Prof. Media, pasted in the Spotify playlist link, selected the Edit function for first song and set my conversion preferences and applied to all. Browsed and selected new folder for music output. Then clicked Convert. Conversion process started! Since I started writing this 9 songs out of 53 have successfully converted with no fails. Really appreciate everyone's input - without it, I would have left this giveaway uninstalled! Have a great day, all!
