When I open that e-mail, there was written 11:37 (before 8 hours). Which time time you use?

I received the Giveaway of the Day email at 7:30 4-9-20. It has 2 giveaways: JPG to PDF converter and Photo Background Remover. When I go to download the JPG to PDF converter, I can't. It says it was a giveaway on 4-8-20. What's up? Is it available on the 9th or not? Is it joke?

my suggestion for the next version of JPG To PDF is to combine the GUI executable "JPG2PDF.exe" with the simple PDF header and footer and JPG combiner in ".\data\pdf.exe" into a single executable and use the systems %TEMP% environment variable to locate a write-enabled folder heirachy if you need some temporary file writing space and make sure you do not need to write in the program installation folders so you can install it into a legitimate location and not C:\JPG2PDF\ Folder and a default output folder of C:\OUTPUT\

Mind you I am a little bit confused by the existance of a similar product that uses a different engine but a similar GUI but with added facilities to edit some output PDF file meta data:

Current version 6.4

Same digital signer as todays... confusing! Same domain registrant too!

A handy utility - especially for multi-images, being able to view them all on a single web page (doing that with the separate jpg files would have been a real headache).

I tried 18 images in a folder (a total of 32mb) that converted?/wrapped? to a 33mb pdf file in about 2 seconds.
I like that you can set the images in any order you like before conversion.
The resulting pdf displays the images in their original sizes (relative to each other)

the program works very fast and the file size is about the same number of bytes as the original files.
I like it but don't think that I need it much right now but then who knows, I never thought that I'd be a prisoner in my own home because of a little RNA sequence gone crazy either.

"the program works very fast and the file size is about the same number of bytes as the original files."

A PDF is a container that can hold different kinds of content, including jpeg images, so you're just taking your *.jpg file as-is and putting it inside a PDF wrapper. It's better than using something like Microsoft's Print to PDF in Win10, which probably re-encodes the displayed image to a new jpg inside a new PDF file, since that re-encoding is lossy [loses data].

mike, as you said, it is a wrapper instead of converter, it means it is not a converter, but it is advertised as CONVERTER, somebody is not telling the truth. The PDF printer driver can be set to convert anything printable to be as high resolution as the operating system allows, so that statement is not true either.

This post does not really belong here, but it might ease the confusion...

I see Imagejac Online Image Editor is back and with more than 20 hours left to make use of it.

Photo shop can do this natively, no third party program require.

Thomas Black, PhotoShop is a third party program.

I am also confused as I too received an email for Imagejac Online Image Editor Giveaway of the Day.
On clicking it I got a 404 error.
The JPG to PDF 4.4 I did not get in the mail.
Is there a gremlin? Or did the Imagejac retract their offer?
Thanks for all the time you take to show us the giveaways :)
Have a great day.

I have used version 4.3 a number of times and it works great to combine multiple jpgs to one pdf file.

Very confused - just got email with today's giveaway: 'Imagejac Online Image Editor
$497.00 FREE TODAY' exactly one hour ago, now it's gone and says "Oooops! Sorry, the page you're looking for isn't here. Maybe you've clicked on an obsolete link or mistyped the URL, or maybe it's just us. Don't fret! Just go to our home page and proceed from there." But when I go to the home page I can't find the original offer I was emailed about an hour ago? Now there's this 'JPG To PDF 4.4' offer instead - that I haven't even received an email about as per usual?
What's going on GOTD - did you withdraw the last giveaway and replace it with this? Can I still get the last giveaway I got the email about or has it indeed been withdrawn?

Dear users,
There are some server problems on the developer side for the previous offer (Imagejac), so we had to replace the giveaway.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

Alexa, Thanks for the prompt reply and service. Mistakes happen, and my mind is at rest knowing the error is not from our side/laptop.
