Sadly, I just found a Mockplus iDoc samples page: https://doc.mockplus.com/?cat=80

Seems to produce very nice looking interactive mockups, but giveaway has now ended. Next time around direct users to some example output.

I'm soooo confused about todays offer.

Is it a program to help you design professional web templates for web and phones or not??

It "helps connect the entire product design workflow". It facilitates handoff by taking designs from PS, Sketch, Adobe XD and exporting into a format that can generate code snippets, specs, and assets.

So it's a program or cloudware that connects designers of a project??

the marketing of this product is vague..is it a collaborative tool for designers not in the same office?; for example are they in different cities? a place to share ideas of product development online? so then thre is no software on your computer, its a program on a cloud? perhaps good as a form of communication. there no way to review this service without commiting to terms of service. No software to preview. Hmm......not sure what i would say, enticing but difficult sale; and i am in the cretive profession, this difficulty turns me off.

george james ducas, yep the marketing description is so vague and full of over verbose terms that it is remniscent of the pseudo-science used to validate certain crank healing machines or other aticles that provide no clear and demonstrable utility.
It apears to be a web based application or cloudware so cannot directly interface in any of the products it says it uses ... I think one exports objects created on those desktop programs then upload them to the web applications server and do something with them up there for some odd reason than prevents it being done locally in the very capable programs you were using... If it just a colaberative service of some sort then the chances are it will be of zero utility for GAOTD users on a strictly personal usage basis... If I need to colaberate on any project I'll use existing platforms like github or sourceforge or wiki platforms. For commercial collaberation use of an internet web based application is just asking for ones commercial intelectual property to be stolen. Such web based colaberative services should be walled behind ones OWN corporate VPN to avoid criminal hacker bots finding and profiling the servers used for future attacks. Only companies that don't take security seriously entrust their internal operations to publically accessible webservers and rely upon the minimal security that https based authentication as their primary layer of security.

george james ducas, if you want to dip your toe into colaberative working software solutions a fairly extensive list of propietary and open source platforms is available at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_collaborative_software

I cannot find this product listed there so maybe todays vendor may like to create a wikipedia account and find out how to include their product in the list (NOT as an advert entry or it will be removed by administrators for breaching their terms of use)

Jongde Software,

After reading the website, I think this might possibly be for helping in the development of software apps. But is that only for mobile platforms? Android only? Or iPhones also? Maybe desktop Windows, or any targeted platform?

What is the difference in purpose and features between today's title and plain "Mockplus" as previously given away here on May 29, 2017, and as featured on a separate website in your product family?

Do they complement each other, or is the "iDoc" version a newer version (superset)? Or is "Mockplus" required to make use of "Mockplus iDoc"?

As it is, this appears to be directed towards people already in the software development industry and "in the know".

However, you might get new customers (sometime in the future, anyway) if a plain-language-for-newbies scenario could be provided in the description so as to educate the rest of us so that maybe, just maybe, we might venture to try this out for future reference, or for recommendation to someone (a boss) with purchasing authority upon getting a new job, etc.

HMarx,

At the bottom of the now-working "Homepage" there is a hint:

Mockplus RP | Rapid prototyping tool
Mockplus iDoc | Design collaboration tool

That is a start towards clarification.

As a former "traditional"/non-software engineer I always thought of "prototyping", "design", team collaboration, etc., in terms of eventually producing a physical/tangible item. I.E., "Rapid Prototyping" often means cranking out something on a 3D printer to a lot, if not most, people.

That's why I sometimes get annoyed when "code wranglers" simply assume that everyone knows they are talking about software development when they use similar (hijacked!) lingo without clarification.
